No Service from Pro-X Pools
I reported my fibreglass shell of my pool on the 8th September as I notices a crack and a hole, Martin came out to do an inspection and confirmed that there was a hole and crack, On the 23rd Sept after follow-ups I was advised that the manufacturer of the shell "Kindly note that Martin will send the fiberglass shell manufacturer out to assess the crack- this will take place in next week as Martin is on leave and will be back on Monday 30 September." I have not had this inspection carried out and have done weekly follow ups with absolutely no response. This is very poor service!!

No Service from Pro-X Pools

Disgusting after sales service from Pro-x pools George
Pro-x pools installed a fiberglass pool at our home a couple of years ago. Last year the fiberglass shell started to crack. Seeing that the shell was still under warranty, this was reported to Marcell and Simone and the feedback we received was that the company that supplied the shell closed down...The contract that we signed was with Pro- x pools and not any other company. Marcell was not even willing to have a look at the damage, or advise us. Disgusting after sales service.

Pool cannot hold water
Started off really well. Had some issues during construction but they sent in a new team and all good from there. My pool was completed on 24th May without being able to hold water. Now 20th June (almost 1 month later) still not fixed. Still leaks. Every time I must refill the pool at my own cost. Last time they did a cheap fix job - I now sit with a combination of pool grout and silicone on my pool tiles (of different colours). They would have come today to fix - nobody showed. No call, nothing. I cannot recommend them unfortunately. Should have listened to the bad reviews.

Well done Pro-X Pools
And now for something different. Before contracting any company, I research their business and opinions of others on Hellopeter. I shouldn't have used Pro-X if their reviews were anything to go by. (There are always 3 sides to a story). 12 years ago, my marblite pool was lined with fibreglass. It was time for a "makeover". And so after the Hellopeter reviews, I called insurance companies for their experiences and obtained opinions from pool companies not in the "makeover" business. I needed comfort I was making a decent decision. I state comfortably, I rate Pro-X pools highly. Belinda their office manager and communicator was 1st class in keeping me in the loop with intended activities and planning. Their construction staff (thanks Phillip) are truly well mannered and respectful. It was refreshing. My pool was completed to my satisfaction and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to you. Having a military background isn't exactly helpful wrt the building industry's antics here in the Outeniqua region but this time around, I enjoyed our mutual business being conducted professionally. Thanks Pro-X.

Shocking service from Pro-X Ppools
After-sales service is disgusting!! Marcel and Simoné were happy to take our money for a new pool. After the installation, we had numerous problems with the pool. Marcel promised to come fix them but never arrived. Now he refuses to take my calls. We bought a solid safety pool cover from Marcel that does not fit. He refuses to fix the cover so we now have a very expensive cover we can not use. Very frustrating and disappointing experience, especially for the money we paid.

Bought a chemical free filtration system from Marcelle and Simone` Hijbeek from Pro-Xpools 2 years ago. When asking Marcelle a few months after installation, why my pool floor is turning Yellow, he advised me that I need to shock it with chlorine... seeing as we were sold a "chemical free" system, We immediately asked him to remove the system and give our money back to which we were told lie after lie and promise after promise and eventually decided to take legal action against Pro-Xpools. Unfortuately we are still waiting..

Dreadful After Sales Service
I cannot begin to tell you the frustration of dealing with these people. They are completely unresponsive to after-sales issues and are only focused on getting your money. Below are a list of my issues. 1) 4 visits digging up and re-laying my tiled deck because of large puddles. 2 years on and it is still bad with cracked joints all over. 2) After 14 months my pump failed miserably. Despite call after call and them telling me the warranty was out I bought and fitted a new pump (correcting the dreadful pipework job along the way). I then find out the pump has 3 years warranty and I contacted the manufacturer myself and they are fixing it. 3) I've had a leak almost from day one and they flat did not have any interest. This week I opened up and found the aimflow pipework was so badly fitted the aimflow does not sit flush against the shell. Again I have paid someone else to fix this. 4) Having dug up my deck to fix the leak I discovered that the reason my deck keeps cracking is because of the dreadful prep they did when laying the deck. The concrete is almost non existent, there little or no compacting taken place and as I live in a clay area there should be steel reinforcing, but guess what. When I first contacted them they were great, while they were doing the job they were great, since then dreadful! To make matters worse I actually recommended them to friends who had a fibreglass relign done, they made such a bad job of it and flat refuse to correct it so our friends are in the same boat, if they want it right they have to pay again.
