They will charge Customs Duty on items that have 0% customs duty. On top of that they charge additional fees for Import VAT, Documentation, Handling and a Transfer Surcharge. If you argue long enough they will start to remove the incorrectly charged fees. However getting hold of them can be very difficult. They don´t answer the phone.

I made an onine order which I paid for then on 23/05/2026 I received an sms from meili logistics that I need to pay for customs duty which I paid via the link which was provided by meili logistics. I have not received any confirmation of whether the order is en route or not. It has been 5 days. I sent a Hi to their whastapp number and there is no response. I am wondering whether this company even exists

This courier is a ****, I ordered two items from China , same order but somehow imile charged them separately for customs...I don't get why online retailers use them, they make money on orders by charging ridiculous customs fees, I paid half of the item price for each item....BS

They charge whatever custom duties they want (up to 60%), don't provide an invoice, don't respond to emails or messages, don't return calls, and don't even come down to talk to you when you visit their office in person (they hide behind a security gate). Do not buy from AliExpress because they may use them. No doubt they won't care about this post as well. I'm starting with a massive online campaign, will do everything I can to prevent AliExpress from using them, take it up with SARS, and will also send them a letter of demand.

My husband bought tracksuit at Shein on the 25th march 2026 till today we haven't received the parcel this company called my husband and they told him to pay 750 for their recklessness of misplacing the parcel my husband to them that he won't pay and my husband has already paid for this parcel and they want another money

I ordered a item from Ali Express, advertised as "Free Shipment". After shipment I get this SMS from this company to pay 78% of the item cost! I cannot cancel the order anymore because it is shipped. So I have to wait for the item to arrive before cancelling, then I would have to pay the shipment VAT etc. charges anyway. So I have no choice but to pay Speedaf. Daylight *******! I will never use Ali again. Lesson learned.

Meili Logistics and Speedaf are *****. They need to be SHUTDOWN . I am extremely disappointed with Speedaf. I have paid the required duties and taxes for order ZA000304235R and attached proof of payment, yet your system still shows no payment received. I have tried contacting support via phone and WhatsApp multiple times with no response. This lack of communication and poor service is unacceptable. I expect immediate confirmation of my payment and urgent release of my parcel. The level of service provided is completely unprofessional and frustrating.

Meili Logistics and Speedaf are *****. They need to be SHUTDOWN . I am extremely disappointed with Speedaf. I have paid the required duties and taxes for order ZA000304235R and attached proof of payment, yet your system still shows no payment received. I have tried contacting support via phone and WhatsApp multiple times with no response. This lack of communication and poor service is unacceptable. I expect immediate confirmation of my payment and urgent release of my parcel. The level of service provided is completely unprofessional and frustrating.

They are *****ing our hard earned money. Ordered stuff from Shein to the value of R1800. Apparently my package was spot checked and I had to send all proof of purchase and payments to them. After about two weeks I received an invoice for R1700 for customs duty and penalty fees and VAT. Now they are threatening to mark it as abandoned and I will loose the things I already paid for. So what happens to the (abandoned) items? They are *****ing it!!!! How can this be? Its *****! How can we address this with law enforcement as they are just as useless.
