I ordered a item from Ali Express, advertised as "Free Shipment". After shipment I get this SMS from this company to pay 78% of the item cost! I cannot cancel the order anymore because it is shipped. So I have to wait for the item to arrive before cancelling, then I would have to pay the shipment VAT etc. charges anyway. So I have no choice but to pay Speedaf. Daylight *******! I will never use Ali again. Lesson learned.
I rented a car from the 23th of March 2021 and returned the car on the 31st of March 2021 On delivery of the vehicle damage of the paintwork was recorded on the back bumper in writing and signed by both parties. My daughter returned the vehicle without any additional damage at the agreed location. At delivery no mention was made of any additional damage . More than a week later I was informed of additional damage and on the 11th of April they sent me pictures via WhatsApp of damage of paintwork on the back and front bumpers of the vehicle. I was only aware of the damage at the back of the vehicle as delivered to me, now they claim that I am also responsible for damage to the front. Avis said they would investigate the dispute and revert back to me within 7 days. They dit not report back to me and promptly deducted the money from my bank account . R1554.35 without any invoice or further communication. Next time I will take pictures of the car before taking it back because it is your word against theirs . Very bad service from Avis! In June 2018 I booked 6 nights at the Letsatsi Lodge, VanRhynsdorp for a class reunion in August 2018. I paid the full amount R5370. Unfortunately I had to cancel the booking due to unforeseen circumstances . They acknowledged the cancellation and paid back the money minus 20%. This was done on the 28th of June According to their cancellation policy 20% fee is payable if the booking is cancelled 31 days prior to arrival. My booking was cancelled more than 31days prior so they owe me the full amount. After 3 months they are just ignoring my letters, not even explaining why they are not paying back the money. I think this is very bad customer service.
