I will never come back here with my family again It first started off with the attitude of the staff towards my family and I. That I can forgive, I understand we all have our bad days. The worst was the infestation of green bottle flies on the property. The moment my husband got his bacon and egg burger, the flies paraded his meal, furthermore, the burger was soggy and distasteful, he refused to eat it all. I started to suspect the freshness of his meal, as we witnessed the influx of green bottle flies using his meal as a breeding ground. We were immediately put off by this restaurant and their lack of hygiene, sanitation and fresh food. My husband ended up having an upset tummy. I will never ever recommend this restaurant to anyone, but green bottle flies. These flies can enjoy the decaying organic food from here, but, as for me and my family, we will not return.

A group of friends and I booked and had breakfast at the Secret Garden, Norscot Manor, Sandton. This is the third time this year we have visited. And once again, for the third time, the service was shocking. When we arrived there were only a few tables occupied and there seemed to be lots of waiters walking around. Although the waiters were friendly, it took more than 20 minutes after seating us at the table for the waiter to come and take orders for tea and coffee. It then took a further 30 minutes for the drinks to be brought to the table. The waiter only came to take breakfast orders after we had been there an hour and then the breakfast took another 45 minutes to be brought to the table - and this only after one of us when to enquire where the food was. When it arrived, half of the items were on cold plates and three of us who ordered omelettes had half cold food. All items were served with bread/toast, but no butter was provided until we asked for it. All round a disappointing and unsatisfactory experience.

Some friends and I went there for Cupacinno and scones. After waiting forever for a waiter when we ordered they had no water so they couldn’t make Cupacinno’s and they still had to bake the scones. It was 11 o clock in the morning. So we left and went elsewhere

Its a wonderful venue in PMB. They offer a really large property. The have accommodation facilities and an arrival stead for the bride to arrive in. The relief is flat and the distance between the stead and chapel are in good proximity. They offer outdoor weddings and indoor weddings. The chapel one sided coverage with the other area being mostly windows which WAS great during Covid. The reception area has glass doors all around which is great. Their offer affordable wedding packages that are absolutely amazing. They also have bar facilities and allow dogs. Gypsie, their friendly dog, will show you around if you get lost on the property. They have so many cool spots to take pictures its amazing, so you should definitely bring a camera.

My husband and I were witness to the management dealing with a table of guests who were complaining about the bad service (and rightly so) both the owner and manager were very rude to their guests and I thought that was very unprofessional indeed, my husband and I will never go back there in let a sour taste in our mouths (excuse the pun)

The owner went to every table to check on his customers and deliberately walked past my table and after giving my complaint to the waiter, the owner still decided to do nothing about it. I was the only one at the restaurant as a person of colour so I find this extremely racist of him. He didn’t care that I had spoken up about it and made me feel worthless. Absolutely disappointing

Good Day, My daughter and son-in-law treated my wife and I to a 60th Birthday breakfast. We placed our order and we were asked how we prefer our eggs. I ordered my eggs soft. When the breakfast arrived both eggs were over done to the point that I could not even see the yolks. When pointed this out, the staff took the eggs away and returned later with eggs that were barely edible. There was absolutely no apology for the poor quality. I will never frequent this establishment ever again . The prices are over priced and pretentious. Ex Customer
