Shocking Service and Complete Lack of Accountability from Inn8

Although this complaint is address to INN8 - it would be completely necessary to address it here as all their email addresses are Stanlib. I am beyond frustrated with the shocking level of service and complete disregard for communication from Inn8. In mid-September 2025, Thinus assured me that Chris and Lara would contact me to assist with moving my book. That never happened. I followed up repeatedly on 26 September, 14 October, and again on 5 December 2025 — each time being given empty promises that they would reach out. To date, nothing. The situation has only worsened. On 2 February 2026, I contacted them regarding ongoing fee reversals (lump sum) — no response. My brokerage followed up on 10 March 2026 regarding ongoing fees — again, completely ignored. On 13 March 2026, I escalated the matter and copied Chris, Lara, and Michael directly. Read receipts confirmed the emails were seen, yet still no response. This is not just poor service — it is blatant negligence and a total lack of accountability. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially in the financial services industry where clients’ interests should be a priority. I expect immediate engagement and a clear resolution to this matter.

Stanlib is not recommended

Do not ever invest in Stanlib Global equity offs**** investments unless you never want to use the money. My withdrawal request was sent in early Ferbruary 2026 and on 17 March 2026 they cannot even give me an estimate of when I can expect to get the money

Pathetic Service

On 17 February 2026, I sent a form to update the personal details for the member on the living annuity LB0017808. I called and requested a statement, explaining that the member is very sick and we need to act quickly to update his living annuity details and load the correct beneficiaries. You had all the necessary forms to do so. After consulting with the client, we decided to move his living annuity to a Capital Protector contract. Again, I called and pleaded with you to please expedite this request because we are pressed for time. We ensured that every single requirement I asked for was sent to you as quickly as possible. I called a couple of days ago to inquire if the beneficiaries had been updated, only to be told that you missed it in the beginning. I apologize for any confusion, but as far as I know, you now have everything needed to process the urgent transfer. Now, the entire transfer process has been halted because you are reconsidering the beneficiary change and attempting to call a client who is currently in a coma. The number you are using is not even the one we provided for the data change. What was the purpose of completing the forms then? What am I missing here? We urge you to treat this matter as urgent — you have disrupted the administrative process and halted everything despite being repeatedly informed about the urgency of this situation. We are working with people, children, families, and real-life situations. What do you work with? Can the funds be transferred so that the new insurer can process the life annuity request, please? Everyone is waiting on you!

Standard Bank Unreachable and Unhelpful With Policy Detail Updates

I am extremely disappointed with the service I’ve received regarding my mother’s funeral plan. I keep receiving emails saying her policy details must be updated or the plan may not pay out one day, which is very serious and concerning. Naturally, I tried to contact the company immediately. I have called twice. The first time I couldn’t get assistance, and the second time I left a message — yet no one has bothered to return my call. It is unacceptable to send urgent warnings to policyholders but then make it nearly impossible for them to actually resolve the issue. This level of service is not only frustrating, it feels ********* to place the responsibility on clients while failing to provide proper support channels. I expect far better communication and responsiveness, especially when dealing with something as important and sensitive as a funeral policy.

POOR SERVICE

I have submitted a repurchase on my investment (LISP) on Sunday the 8th of February. I have followed up on numerous emails and phone calls with NO satisfactory outcome. 1 week later I still have not received my withdrawal request!!!!

3 YEARS TO CHANGE DETAILS

One star because you can't give zero. I was divorced at the end of 2022 and I requested a change of surname in 2023, filled out the relevant forms, with my financial adviser, and sent all the related documentation. It is now 2026 and STILL my details haven't been updated. I asked for this to be done again, they said they can't do it without the form, where's the form I sent before? I then sent them the form with the investment numbers and the changes that needed to be made (title, surname, number, address). I received a response yesterday after having to follow up with them, yet again, saying my address had been changed. No feedback on anything else. Today I get my statements and only the address has been changed on ONE investment. Everything else is still the same. I cannot believe I've been asking for this for almost 3 years and you still haven't got it right.

Disappointment from Stanlib on a matter of my 2026 payments

I've got an investment with Stanlib, with my past and present experiences with them, they've shown me that they do not value my life over money. They are refusing to realese my 2026 payments as request to pay for my medication. I am very disappointed in them. I need this money urgently from my pension money that I worked for till retirement. This saddnes me despite having spelt out my predicament. I can never recommend them to anybody.
