I have been struggling for TWO WEEKS just to get my banking details changed, since the account that's linked with my investment does not exist anymore. I have given them the instruction to do so about 5 times by now, and still nothing has happened. I shudder to think how long the withdrawal will take that I have to do IF the bank account ever gets linked, because technically I needed that money already to make bookings for a trip. And according to their timelines, each of these processes (changing details and withdrawal) should take up to 2 days each. So if they were of any use I should have had my money more than a week ago. Bless my mother for opening this entity for me when I was little, but I wish she'd rather gone with another investment company.
Absolutely terrible experience with this company. I just hired a carpet cleaning machine from my local Spar, took it home, followed all the instructions, but the thing didn't work. On the way back to the Spar to go exchange it, I decided to check if I can get someone to come and clean my carpet instead. I found someone that would do it for less than the machine cost me to hire. A supervisor at Spar puts me on the phone with an employee from Cleaning Clinic (I'm very tempted to name her but for now I won't). I ask for a refund and she tells me they have a no refund policy. What needs to happen is someone has to come to me and assess the machine and then who knows what. I don't have time for this as we have furniture arriving tomorrow that has to go in the room where the dirty carpet is. I start getting irritated because she keeps saying there's no refund policy, even though it DOESN'T SAY THAT ON THE FORM I FILLED IN, and then she goes on to tell me she can't help it if I want to have a hissy fit! End of story, I put the phone down and walked out R499 poorer.
We've now gone 5 weeks without fibre, thanks to Vodacom wrongfully terminating our line. My husband applied for a new package a month ago, after which they unnecessarily sent us a new router, but for some unexplained reason, they have still not been able to activate it. Here we are, about 7 'escalations' (whatever that means in their book) and thousands of rands of extra mobile data later. Anyone looking for an ISP, I'd steer clear.
I just joined Oneplan for my new puppy and have received great service so far, especially from sales consultant Lerato Mathu. He was incredibly helpful and a pleasure to talk to.
