If anyone is looking for a hosting company, please go to literally anyone except 1-Grid. They have unstable infrastructure, *********** staff and zero support. I have been a client for many years and this time has been riddled with support issues, constant downtime and zero accountability. I have many customers websites that are hosted with 1-Grid and they have all been completely down for the past 2 days. I have logged multiple support tickets and the only feedback I have received is that it has been escalated. When I eventually managed to get hold of the support team telephonically, I was told that they are aware of the issue and are working on it. He also mentioned that he would escalate my concerns to his "Supervisor". I have not heard anything else since then and all my customers sites are still down. For business that are reliant on their web presence to generate revenue, this is not an option. Another follow up -23/05/2026 10:33 I tried calling this morning and the phone line goes unanswered. I have yet to receive any other feedback. Clearly this is not of importance to them. Please stay as far away from this excuse of a hosting provider as possible. Unless you enjoy generic responses and zero action. I will be migrating to literally anyone else first thing on Monday. On the 7th of March I injured my knee playing sport. I was taken to Flora Clinic's casualty to be examined. I was administered pain medication and then sent for x-rays. Upon returning, I was told that I needed to have a CT scan done as there is a possibility that arteries behind the knee may have been damaged and if this occurs it may result in amputation due to clotting. "This is what I was told by a Doctor" - I was then told that there will be a co-payment of around R2200. I made the payment and had the procedure. The very next day I was contacted by the radiologist who told me that Bonitas had declined this charge as I do not qualify for this procedure. Not only have I paid Bonitas for the past 2 years with no claims but I have now undergone a procedure that I was strongly urged to receive (At the risk of losing a limb) which I now need to pay for out of my pocket. Bonitas wouldn't even cover the crutches that I needed and I had to purchase those. Stay as far away from this joke of a medical aid as you can. They literally collect cash from me every month and offer zero to no benefit. Every doctors appointment, every time i've purchased medication - Always cash because they decline. @Bonitas, you've just lost another customer. I know that won't bother you as I'm just another number!
Been banking with Nedbank since i was 18 and have a clean credit record with them. I am now attempting to purchase my first home and have been approved by both FNB and ABSA yet for some unknown reason, the bank that has had all my support declined me. This even after I had a pre approval done and was approved for a higher amount than I am requesting. I am now going through SA Homeloans as they want my business. NEDBANK, you can expect cancellation of all of my services, I have been a loyal customer for many years yet once again get messed around by my own bank. This is the last straw, no more support for Nedbank.
Policy number :AWE13628 To whom it may concern, This claim was declined based on the fact that electrical wiring is not covered. This in my opinion is not in fact the case. I have been without a vehicle for almost a month due to the ECU fault and have been sent back and forth to your preferred testing company "Auto ECU" . The final report that they provided stated that it was caused by a power surge between wiring the injectors and the ECU. This i feel is an inaccurate conclusion as I have taken the vehicle for a second opinion and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the wiring. I have purchased a new ECU now and it has been fitted by an RMI approved dealer with absolutely no issue. The wiring has been checked and surely if the wiring was a problem the same would have happened when they plugged in the new ECU. I would like this claim to be looked at again as I feel that it was unfairly repudiated. Auto ECU based the conclusion on an assumption because the ECU no longer works. They could neither confirm nor deny that wiring was the issue and what they provided is a potential cause and not in fact the real reason for the faulty ECU. I followed your protocol as requested and provided every single bit of information you wanted only to be given a 2 minute phonecall where the agent was neither knowledgeable nor competent in terms of my submissions. In fact, i was first told that it was water damage???? When questioned I was told that he made a mistake and was looking at the incorrect file.. Based on the conversations with the call centre and reviews of your services online, I am led to believe that the AA Warranty never had any intention of paying out for this claim. Donovan
My policy number is : AWE13628 I purchased a pre owned vehicle 4 months ago. For peace of mind an AA warranty was purchased. That is fantastic and i was really happy until........ My car kept on going into limp mode complaining that something is wrong with an injector. I spoke to the AA and was told to have the ECU taken to "Auto ECU" in Germiston as they will do the required tests. This was done, they then sent me back to get a different type of test done. The feedback on the report was that the ECU was damaged most likely by wiring between the injectors (This is merely a guess as they don't know for sure) - Anyway all information requested was sent to the AA to file a claim. I then got a less than competent phone call telling me that the claim is repudiated. When asking why he told me "Water damage" -WHAT?!!?!?!?! when questioning this he changed his mind and said, sorry i was reading the wrong one. The reason is that "We do not cover wiring" . . . . . . So now, i have to replace an ECU that is covered by a warranty that refuses to pay out based on the fact that it is "most likely" caused by wiring. This is completely pathetic. I got the feeling from the get go that you were looking for reasons to not pay and I was right. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE AS YOU CAN!!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE AN AA WARRANTY!!!!!!! You are better off saving that money yourself atleast you then know you'll get paid. I will never make this mistake again! AA WARRANTY SCAM!
This refers to a fixed residential line : ********** . While i was living at these premises the line was constantly being stolen causing months of no service which i was expected to pay for. Eventually the line was stolen again and Telkom informed me that they will not be replacing the line. Hence, the could not provide me with the service any longer. I since moved, obtained a new line and used it- This has since been cancelled. This morning I received a bill from Telkom for the line that was stolen : ********** 750 for R2879.00 , meaning they have been charging me for a non existent service since they told me the line will not be replaced. When i contacted the call center i was told that i should've cancelled the line even though they told me the service can no longer be supplied. Call reference number : ********** 57 . I have since lodged a dispute however I believe that i have been listed as a bad payer by Telkom which i expect to be rectified. I will be consulting an attorney regarding this matter. Cancellation reference : 825229 I will never in my life have any other service with your incompetent company who continues to charge me for a service that they cannot supply me with.
Ever since Web Africa moved all hosting services to 1-grid I have nothing but issues. This is not a complaint to try have my issue resolved, but more to tell you that I will be moving all my domains and websites to another provider who actually cares about there customers. This is by far the worst service I have ever received. #1 Your live chat puts me on hold for 15min before telling me to leave a message, your call center had me on hold for 25 min before cutting me off and your "fantastic" support team do not respond to tickets logged. Please explain to me how this business of yours is still running??? Telkom do not give a damn about "customers" only payments. Yet cannot deliver! I initially reported that my adsl and phone line where completely down on the following date 2018-01-26 and got the following reference number - 68ARK020218. This problem went on for nearly a month and was only eventually resolved on the 2018-02-21. The line was working for a week and then the exact same thing happened on the 2018-03-02 and i received the following reference 16ARK020318 . The line is still down more than two weeks later and i am again sitting with a situation where nobody can give me an answer. All i get is the generic " We are waiting for a technician to be dispatched" which helps me nothing whatsoever. Keep in mind that Telkom demand that you keep paying in full for this service even though it is not operational. I am now going on paying for two months where i was able to utilize this service for roughly a week. Yet if i am late with payment they will not hesitate to disconnect the service. This service is unacceptable and I am on the verge of cancelling with Telkom in totality based on this work ethic. Surely if the issue is that bad that it takes a month to resolve someone could tell me to cancel the service and stop milking me for money when they cannot deliver the service. I am completely dissatisfied and past the point where I am actually angry. I have had to purchase an LTE router and account in order for my business to keep functioning and guess who i purchased it through? Not Telkom as they have proved that they are only worried about the income and not customer service. They no longer have monopoly and it is just a matter of time until this ship sinks. My advice would be to rather go directly to a wireless service and forget about Telkom.

A vintage retro one of a kind hand bag purchased in the United states was taken to these people to repair stitching that had come loose. When my wife collected the bag, she broke into tears by the way it looked. Their (outsourced) tailor had done some shabby patchwork job with a combination of an oversized needle and glue which resulted in the bag having damage which cannot be repaired. Although i understand that this was caused by the outsourced tailor, it is ultimately the responsibility of the business to quality check these things. My honest opinion is that this so called tailor, has absolutely no clue what they are doing nor does Dino's Cleaning Centre have the ability to quality check these things. Avoid going to them for any tailor work, you're better off throwing the item away!
