Well the onboarding process was so easy and fast, no phone call, no 1000 Questions I loved it. And the premium great with a lox excess. Well have to see how they perform in the event of a claim but so far so good .

Horrible horrible company, never ever consider this place, worst service provider in South Africa. Nerver ever ever consider using Telkom as your service provider, they are absolutely ****.

I have a data contract with telkom and I'm using a LTE Router, my data plan is a capped plan.So that means it does not fall under the fair usage policy because it's not uncapped.But near the end of every month, my internet speed is horribly ,horribly slowwww!!!!. Which is so not great because that's the time I usually try to finish up my data before it expires.The advertised speed a capped LTE plan should receive is supposedly up to 90 mbps!!But I've never received more than 30 mbps,it's once in a blue moon that they actually give you 30 mbps. MOST of the time my speed is only 6 to 10 mbps!!!!!!!!!!! To make matters worse they don't try to fix the problem or to just actually do something to it,if a complaint is made you just get notified that the complaint was received and then you get a reference number. If any solution ever comes from a complaint it will be a miracle. Telkom your really hopeless, and never provide the speeds you advertise, I'm sick and tired of paying for something and not getting the services that was advertised. Pleaseee Telkom provide better services to you clients.!!!!!
<p>I've been a customer of Telkom for about 6 months now,and to sugar coat it.I have never been so disappointed with a service provider ever in my life.In these 6 months I had and still have connection problems with my adsl line.I have up to now, created so many faults about my line not syncing and being unstable,and each time they send me a message,your fault has been resolved,and then it works fine, but in about a week's time exactly the same,my line does not want to sync.And then I have to create a fault again,and the same happens,it starts to work after a day or so.But in a few days again it doesn't sync, and on and on,not only do they take forever to assign a technician to your fault,they don't even give me progress on my reported fault.I have to phone them every time if I want any progress,and then it's always "Sorry sir but where still waiting for a technician".In the 6 months I've been with Telkom I also had so many problems with my invoices being incorrect,and they don't fix it,you have to pay the extra money,and only in the next month's invoice the problem will be fixed.Unfortunately I have a two years contract with Telkom,and by now I'm wishing this two years to pass quickly.I would not recommend Telkom's service to anyone,and please think twice before you go into a Telkom store to get a new adsl line or internet service.</p>
On 09/10/2015 I applied for a LTE WiFi router with 40 GB p.m,for R400 p.m.When I was finished with all the paperwork at the telkom mobile store.They told me that they would let me know about the approval of the contract by monday the next week.By Tuesday the next week ,nothing from telkom ,so I phoned them ,and the clerk who answered sed they were offline so he can't help me ,and that I should just wait .By Friday that same week I phoned again,and the clerk sed that my contract was still not approved. Now today on the 19 of Oktober,they still haven't approved it.I phoned them again, and the clerk who answered me this time sed that there is no information on her system that I even applied for anything. And that she would phone me back in a few minutes when she knew whats going on.She never phone me back,and when I phone them later that day,they were offline again.So I'm fed up now and will never again make use of telkom's services. If this is the way they treat their customers when just applying for a contract,just think how much of a struggle it will be when you are in a 24 month contract with them.I really expected more from telkom and their promising ad's on tv,so disappointed.
