In January 2024 I received a call for a mechanical warranty. At the time I was not 100% sure if my warranty expired with Renault, however, I took out the warranty for safekeeping. then my car was due for 75k service and I asked the consultant when my warranty was due, she confirmed the end of December 2024. that is when I informed FFW about it and according to them they tried calling me to cancel, However, every time I wanted to pick up the call, the call dropped or it was blocked. I've checked my blocked numbers and their number did not appear, however, I had to unblock all numbers just to see whether their call would come through. I've emailed them numerous times to inform them that the warranty must be canceled but according to them, it must be done telephonically due to POPIA, which is understandable because we are strict on that as well. Then i tried calling them but every time i had to hold on for more then 5mins and as mentioned to the agent via email, i could not hold on to long because of my job. I called a week or 2 ago to cancel and explained the whole thing again, this is now after holding on for more than 5 to almost 10 for someone to assist me, I explained the situation and the agent canceled the warranty immediately and then referred me to the accounts department. that guy listened to me and then said that he understands and he will make sure that i get my refund. later the same day or day after, i received an email saying that i will not receive a refund because they have been trying to get hold of me to cancel the warranty. I rep**** by saying that just like you trying to come in contact with me, I've bee trying to contact you myself but had to hold on for 5min+, and you not accepting my email as a cancellation i will not accept this and will take it further. They refuse to pay back 4 months x R280. I've been with FFW for more than 15yrs+ and it would be sad to move to another insurance just because of this.
almost 2 months ago i went to buy rolls at Kuils River Spar and was browsing around whiles the lady assisted me. I looked at one of my favorite danishes, Copenhagen. But then I look and had to look again and noticed it started to get mouldy. I immediately informed the employee who assisted me. She still wanted to remove only the one but then I told her, no my dear, you will remove all of this and discard of it. Then past Sunday we went to buy another custard danish, another favorite of mine. When we got home, we had supper and later made some tea and wanted to enjoy it together but it was old. Why must Gables Spar freshness differ from Kuils River (DORP) Spar. My wife bought one at Gables the Friday and wow was it so so fresh and tasty. And here my knife could not even go through the one I bought at Kuils River.
Yesterday was my son's birthday and we thought why not buy him a nice delicious cake at Limnos Bakery Kuils River, even though he was under the weather (lung infection). Long story short, after opening up the table for the family, I decided to cut a piece of cake for myself (Luckily) and when I took a bite or 2, the cake tasted very very strange. I called my wife and asked her to taste, she immediately said no does not taste right, it's off, it's sour. Then I asked my sister in law who taste buds is very sensitive to these types of things, and she confirmed. My brother in law was so upset that he wanted to drive with me because he said what if my son who is sick had to eat from that cake, thank God he did not. My wife then called and informed them about the cake. When I got to the Bakery the lady (I assume she is a supervisor) said to me these strange words, I apologise for the inconvenience, but the cake was off and I placed it below but it seems that someone placed it on top again and sold it, was not supposed to be sold. I wanted to get so furious at this lady and wanted to utter a few words but I kept my cool. Firstly, if you know that the cake was off, not to be sold, why did you put it with the other cakes that in the fridge or why did you not put a note on the cake or why did you not discard of the cake, why keep it in the same fridge at the fresh ones. I had to drive all the way from Silversands area to Kuils River, which a not nearby to hear this and experience this and then they thought macaroons can make up for it. Never!! that what if will remain in my head for quite some time.
This is kinda a negative to a positive. I was due to an upgrade but only decided to upgrade in December. I was kinda ok with the upgrade package but when my deduction went off in January and I noticed that the data received was not what was agreed upon I immediately called Vodacom. I informed the agent of what was said and agreed upon and she tried to assist me with a better package yet I was not happy because how can I now pay more for data and previously agreed upon were less repayment. In that half and hour to hour call that agent listened to a concerned customer, and they were aware that I was a Vodacom customer for over 20yrs. Despite my argument ,not with her but with the previous agent, this agent made sure I was happy with the new package, data I wanted, minutes I wanted, as well as airtime which I never received for years and I'm paying less to what I would have paid. She really adhered to TCF and put a Colgate smile on my dial..happy happy happy 😁😀
I had a breakdown recently, when I selected breakdown on there app, within less than a minute one of the agent's called me. She first asked whether I'm safe, if my surroundings are safe, so it was first all about me,then after that she asked about the car. She arranged a tow truck. I just said goodbye and the tow truck guy called. Within less then 10mins the tow truck were by me. She called again to follow up etc. Now that I call excellent service and looking out for the safety of your clients.
They take there time to listen to you and go out of there way to give you the best service
12 Dec 22 I've purchased a gas stove 4 plate with fittings, and covering. Was delivered on 23rd. On 28th it's almost like something telling me to check the product. It was not what I've ordered, was the gas rove 4plate but without the fittings and cover. I immediately requested a replacement and informed them that it was urgent bc I'm leaving for camp with my family the 4th of Jan. On 29 I took it myself to the pick up point. Then I wanted to purchase an item yesterday and saw that my account was credited and I've requested a replacement. I called this morning 2nd, even though the lady was nice and polite to explain that I won't receive the item on time, I said to her that I understand what she is saying however if they had to deliver the correct item I would not have had this provlblem bc now you putting a burden on me bc now I will go camp without a gas stove. I said to her that I need to speak to a manager but according to her management t would give me the same advise to repurchase item, but I won't get the item on time. I asked her how she would feel if she were in my shoes, not getting what was ordered, etc. I'm now sitting with a burden bc not getting what I've ordered, my account credited and not getting a replacement item and where will I now get a gas stove for that price. Management needs to sort me out urgently. Very very frustrated with Takealot. And it's not that I only bought this item. I bought almost worth over 20ks by them only for December. I need my gas stove before 5th January 2023.
