Minus 5 stars! Stay far far far away. And then run even further. I made the mistake of buying a vehicle there. From the dealership I went to Colonnade (like 2k away). When I got there I could not get out of the car. It kept locking. I had to climb over the seat and get out through the back doors opened manually. On the way back to the dealership about this the brakes on the vehicle locked up and I was stuck. I battled my way to the dealership where I was met with antagonism and rudeness. They oiled the brakes and blamed dust for this and lambasted me for driving in this manner (but I was stuck on Zambezi with a flat cellphone battery so what....I shouldve abandoned the car and walked???) I then mentioned the central locking problem. They claime to have fixed this, but 3 days later the same problem. I tried to return the car in the allowed 7 day cooling off period but Pieter ***ner) refused and told me I had caused the problems because of the brake issue. He also called me arrogant and aggressive and a few other choice words. When I told him that I saw what he had purchased the vehicle for due to a careless salesperson he became irate and told me the vehicle had been valet'd which costs money. (The vehicle was sold for DOUBLE what they paid. He then reiterated his opinion of me and dropped the phone in my ear and refused to take any further calls. 2 Weeks later the car broke down AGAIN and i ended up spending 25 000 on a new gearbox.
My husband and I were under debt review. We settled 3 years early. ABSA however gave us the wrong payment due date - so there were 2 accounts kept open for a whopping R13.00 When we were told this I immediately made payment and sent POP. This was on the 3rd of August. We have been phoning and emailing and we are sent from pillar to post with still no settlement letters being issued. The initial payments were made in June 2023. When Debt rescue tried to obtain settlement letters they were told the account is no longer with debt review - they wont assist them. When I called I got told they cant assist because the file is with debt review. WHERE THE HELL IS OUR FILE SO WE CAN GET OUR SETTLEMENT LETTERS????????????????????????????????
I am at my wits end with these clowns. I am selling my house to pay off all of my debt review. In January I lost it with them because my outstanding balances were higher than my initial balances. Getting any information out of debt rescue has been an absolute joke. I then decided to contact my creditors directly to see what the ACTUAL figure is as this will be the deciding factor in accepting or declining an offer to purchase. Turns out I owe less than half of what my DR statement says! And 2 of the accounts have been settled...yet debt rescue is blindly paying without MANAGING MY DEBT! I pay a monthly fee for a robot to click transfer to my creditors it seems. Lately ABSA has been harassing me for a credit card which is included in the debt review. I have been reaching out to DR for a month. And all they say is that they have requested paid up letters and updated figures. This does not get a creditor off of my back!! And by harassing I mean 11 to 15 phone calls a day. Another credit card - I checked the statement and the interest being charged is higher than the court order. I have queried this with D.R about 8 times and nothing. Trying to reach them telephonically is absolutely impossible because all circuits are either always busy or rings into oblivion. Emails are ignored almost as well as what UNISA does. My house is transferring any day now and I have no idea how to go about settling with my creditors and clearing my name. I will probably have to contact them myself as I have been doing for the past 5 months, and bypass D.R entirely so that something actually happens - despite paying a monthly fee
After placing an order for a line move I receive confirmation that the cancellation date for my current service is 30 April. There was a complication and I had to take a more expensive service due to the Estate I am moving into. I contacted WebAfrica the same day with the details they would require and I received a confirmation email confirming that my new service will go live on the 1st of May. That SAME DAY they debited me pro-rata for the new service for April. I reversed the debit order and queried. I also then saw that they had loaded the cancellation for my current service as 31 May. I phoned them on the 26 (because trying to use the live chat function is slow, painful and fruitless). I was reassured that my service is cancelling on the 30th of April and that the order was placed for 1 May. Someone on their side pulled the trigger on my order too soon. Now today (29 April) I get an sms that I owe them R 1880 for both services PLUS and unpaid debit order fee of R 50 PLUS the pro rata that they charged for April...if I do not pay within 24 hours they will suspend my services
Constant distribution to accounts settled a year ago!
I would give zero stars if I could. Fibre is not available in my area yet, but I enquired about signing up so long to secure my order to get installation asap. I then get an invoice for the R450.00 activation fee and I am told that from 1 August I would be billed for the fibre service. (Which is not available - and they can't confirm when it will be) Since I am not a big fan of paying for stuff I dont get I asked them to cancel the order - I would sign up when the fibre is actually live. HA! A week later I get 2 reminder emails a day to pay the invoice but they stat dead silent on the 3 tickets asking them to cancel my order request. Don't waste your time guys. Seriously these people are a joke.
Second order I have placed and they continue to amaze me. I thought my first order was fast when it was delivered the next morning. I placed an order this morning thinking it would be delivered on Monday or Tuesday. NOPE! Order placed around 9am. Just delivered to me now. SAME FRIGGING DAY. I am beyond impressed! Thanks guys.
Order placed. Money deducted from my account. 10 minutes later an email saying that my order is cancelled and the kitchen is closed. We phoned the restaurant to see what is going on. They advised that the kitchen is NOT closed. You can't phone or email as in the past because now they use "live" chat. Surely after 30 minutes you should have received SOME form of response if the chat is indeed live. I have been using this service for 4 years - today was my absolute last time. I have never had issues unresolved because they were fast to phone and resolve a complaint. Now your queries and complaints disappear into the ether. So now I will go into the bank and reverse the payment because these clowns ignore clients like stop streets
Gomolemo Motlhabane was absolutely PHENOMENAL on Monday. I reached out to ALL the insurance companies to insure the vehicle I am taking delivery of on Saturday. All of the companies would only insure my vehicle for HALF of what I paid for it. Gomo went the extra mile and referred my request to 2 different departments for assistance. She kept me in the loop the entire time - and managed to ensure my vehicle for the value I paid for it. I decided to move my entire insurance portfolio over to them. She is a real asset with fantastic customer service. Absolutely blown away by her
Arrived at Telkom Forest Hill after 6pm, as the Google information indicated that they close at 7pm. The 2 ladies were nice enough to still assist me with a sim swap even though they were already closed....and they were super friendly, making jokes and chatting. Best service from any telkom outlet to date.
