I am deeply disappointed at the lack of customer care from ABSA Business banking. No concern for customer service whatsoever. I supp**** the necessary compliance documents required to keep my account active and in good standing 3 weeks ago and was assured by my business "banker" that everything is in order. Today i try to do critical payments the account gives a FICA error. i call the banker who miraculously answers and she is adamant that FICA is compliant. i beg for her to check the account and give me feedback to which she promises that she will do so immediately.. i wait for 1.5hours - nothing, i call 4 times, calls are rejected. i call the call centre as a last resort and they say the account is not FICA compliant and i should contact my banker. i try again - no response. I escalate to her manager - No response. What level of poor customer service is this?????? Pathetic
Overdraft facility withdrawn without notice or communication. Irresponsive banker. Poor customer service. They do not respond to calls or emails. Stop acting like youre doing usba favour by housing our money. Other banks are better and offer a more personalised business service offering than that wholesale one banker for 500 client atrocity that Absa offers. Pathetic. Best to look for other options besides Absa
I have found myself in the unfortunate situation of having to chase Netstar to check why the tracking device on one of my vehicles isn't working properly. The car constantly shows on the app that it's in a different place than where it is even if parked at home. Upwards of 20 calls and 6 escalation later no resolution. Pathetic service. Why do I need to keep on paying for a service that won't come to my assistance should something happen to my car? Daylight ******* this. I'm going to cancel and I would not advise anyone to.sig up for such shambolic service. Do better!
I have been unfortunate enough to have my overdraft facility withdrawn without any word from my banker and the bank. Surely a banker who looks after a business account should make contact and liaise with his/her client? I do not even know who the banker is! My account has had 4 bankers over the years and i only find out about the change after i give chase when i need help. Shocking customer service. There is no respect for people's accounts. Its only the balances in the account they care about. Atrocious
I have just had a delivery cancelled with no explanation and no consent from my end. the driver hung up on me and is not taking my calls, I had someone waiting on that parcel for the whole day and im due to fly out with it tomorrow and i wont be back for 2 months. The package in question is no longer relevant if i dont get it today What level of disgusting customer service is this? Pathetic customer service.
I have been a longstanding client of Absa Business Banking. I have an overdraft facility with them. Disturbingly they froze and seemingly cancelled this faciltiy with no notice to me. This goes against the Consumer Protection Act. No email, no sms, no banker call. I have a transaction i recieved a deposit for and i cant finalise that transaction because all the money was swallowed. To top it off there is no dedicated banker. They switch and rotate bankers on business accounts with no notice and communication to the account holders. The client is always on the back foot. Pathetic service. You make businesses suffer instead of promoting business growth and efficiency. And you bombard the public with adverts that suggest otherwise. Regrettable service!
I sent a cashsend to one of my employees who went to go try to withdraw the money. The first atm showed an error that said "cannot dispense required amount" the second atm said cashsend already redeemed. No money was dispensed but my account was debited. the call to the branch brought no joy and i was rudely told to wait for 10 working days and log a case for working capital that was required immediately Please rectify this and reimburse my account, i really need this amount for my operational expenses. Case #08708472 and Case C-27347181 have been logged to no avail. please return my hard earned money. this is ***** deducting my money and not dispensing it
I hold my business banking account with ABSA and what a nightmare their transactional experience is! One of my companies division deals with exports and when payments are made from outside the country, it is a painful experience just to get them cleared into my business account. Firstly, i have to chase them and inform them there are incoming funds, after which they take days to release - way after the value date specified on the incoming payment, which subjects me to the risk of losing value on the transaction. There is no direct line for escalations and the business banker in ineffective. Promises to call back are not honoured. Absa business banking is a risk to small businesses. Pathetic services. Im moving my account. Do not falsely claim you champion businesses in you flowery adverts. I am one disappointed client
The recent heavy rains affected my roof waterproofing to the point of water trickling in and settling on top of my bedroom ceiling. I noticed a crack which kept on getting wider and wider with every downpour. I contacted Absa Home Insurance via my banking app and did not hear from them for 48 hours. I then called in and a contractor was sent in to inspect. They deemed it an emergency and promised to give me feedback within 24 hours. One week Later - No response until i then called in frustrated only to be told my claim was rejected with no reason. what nonsense is this? I have had to move bedrooms for fear of the ceiling collapsing on me and my family. Do you not care about the welfare of your clients to that extent - your efficiency is only in timeous debiting our accounts with whats due to you. Pathetic service. I do not recommend anyone gets home insurance with Absa. Shoddy service.
