Let me join the chorus of those that have the misfortune to belong to the worst medical aid in SA - the frightful Fedhealth! When even Dr's secretaries tell you that then you should be very afraid. There is a whole dept that has as its sole purpose to reject claims whether they are valid or not. Try and fight it and you will find yourself arguing with a machine or with someone that cannot read for meaning. In the printed material for emergency treatment it says: " emergency treatment is defined as a physical injury caused to the body by an external force, which requires immediate attention OR(MY CAPITALS BUT VERY NB) for life threatening conditions that require immediate hospitalisation after treatment in the trauma unit". So, smash yourself up with your mountain bike so that you require stitches to your face but you stagger out afterwards - you are surely covered? Read further and it says" Claims will be paid from Risk if... * A member visits the trauma unit of a clinic or hospital for emergency treatment such as suturing. * A member visits the clinic or hospital with a life threatening condition and is admitted immediately for further treatment." The way that paragraph on conditions reads it means that either one of those conditions is valid. Not so, says Fedhealth, it has to be both - you also have to be admitted with a life threatening condition! How does one even begin to argue this mangling of the English language let alone sheer illogicality of it all? But I will not give up. That is Fedhealth's main hope - that you give up in despair and pay yet again. SO please re-consider if ever you are thinking of joining this Frightfully Awful Fedhealth.
Thank you Amazon SA - excellent service! Ordered a phone and accessories yesterday afternoon, delivered this morning, true to your word! Your delivery partner The Courier Guy deserves kudos as well.
Dear Sanlam, I know this is what you hear all the time but you are really inefficient and the most unhelpful lot...Perhaps you need to hire more staff so that it doesn't take you 2 months to send a quote for a RA maturity payout. I am so happy that after this is finalised I will not have to deal with you ever again. Goodnight.
You have to marvel at the wonderful service - thank you pudo for making courier services so quick, easy and inexpensive! Where else can you pay R59 to get a parcel from Durban to Jhb literally by the following day? I know it depends on the time you drop off your parcel at the locker and the collection route but I have used them on many occasions and have never had any delays or issues - my heartfelt thanks for giving such consistently good service!
For a mega-corporation Old Mutual is doing a fine job in grinding their poor clients into the dirt. One would think that after paying a very modest Greenlight policy for 15 years that one would have earned the right to get a payout at the end of the term? But no, the mighty Old Mutual have taken to staffing their front-line staff with either machines or persons who simply do not care to help. No emails are answered, even when all required documentation is sent - over and over and 8 times over again...The call centre is an exercise in frustration as one is passed along from agent to clueless agent. But let me take a guess - the minute this hits the Hellopeter site the auto-generated " not how we treat clients, we are taking a look blah blah fishpaste" will quickly be added as a response. You are so predictable and truly a disappointment Old Mutual!
Thank you Smangele Madide, Administration Manager - GAME Kokstad, for your assistance and quick response. Receipt for a vacuum was misplaced shortly after buying the item in Kokstad the day before Christmas. It proved to be faulty and in order to activate the return or repair in a different location, the receipt was required which Smangele was able to provide based on the date and time of purchase. Many thanks for your assistance - it is appreciated!
Thank you for excellent service! Rina at The Print Room in Durban was able to assist at very short notice - helping me to make a personalised monthly photo calender which looks professional and will definitely be appreciated. They offer a range of services and products and the print work is highly recommended.
Taking Christmas price gouging to new heights - way to go Oxford! The price of pickled tongue was R69.00/kg on 7 Dec,. Today, on 9 Dec, it is suddenly R120/kg! Wow, nearly double - but thank you for your concern about the community dear Oxford - your PR efforts are noted...
Great Move Vodacom Fibre! Get your 6% increase in while the inflation target rate has been set at 3%! Nasty pre-Christmas surprise to see my monthly payment will now be R939 with no increase in line speed - talk about adding value... What a way to go and we are held hostage in the suburbs because we have no other choice...You perhaps trying to make your money back that you lost in the Makate saga?
What a sleazy way to advertise yourselves..."lowest average weighted increase in years just 9.6%" sorry folks, I am on a Hospital plan , Flexi Fed 3, no frills and am being smacked with a 14.5% increase, about R1500 more to take the monthly hit to R12190.50 for 2 adults and a child dependent. Really am celebrating here Fedhealth!
