I visited the Finance Office at the Soshanguve South Campus of Tshwane University of Technology (Block L) to resolve an issue preventing my Master’s registration, as today was the final day of registration. I was assisted by a staff member, Rodney Lebelo. He informed me that my account had been handed over and that he needed to make a call to obtain a statement. He made the call while I was present. Afterwards, he told me to leave and return later while waiting for an email response. When I politely asked how long the process would take, he became rude and shouted at me in front of other people. This behaviour was humiliating and unprofessional, especially given the urgency of my registration deadline. I am deeply disappointed, as I was simply seeking assistance. I urgently need this matter addressed and my registration issue resolved.
I am very disappointed with Lewis regarding the delays in issuing my paid up letter. I have settled my account as required, but despite several follow ups, I am still waiting for the letter. This is highly frustrating because the paid up letter is important for updating my credit profile. The lack of urgency and communication from Lewis is unacceptable. Customers deserve better service and timely assistance after fulfilling their obligations.
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with African Bank. They contacted me and made me acknowledge a debt from as far back as 2012, which is clearly prescribed under South African law. According to the Prescription Act, any debt older than 3 years with no payment or legal action becomes legally unenforceable — yet African Bank still added this debt to my credit report and pressured me into acknowledging it. I did not receive any proper explanation of my rights, and I feel that I was misled and ********ly manipulated into reviving a prescribed debt. This has now affected my credit standing and caused unnecessary stress. Why is a 2012 debt still appearing on my report more than 10 years later?
I am deeply disappointed with North-West University (NWU) for mishandling my AADS511 examination script from the first opportunity. I submitted my answers via the Invigilator App as instructed and also handed in the original physical script at the exam centre, where I signed the attendance register. Despite following all procedures, my marks have not been released, while all other students have received theirs. I have reached out for help, but I keep being sent from pillar to post with no clear answers or accountability. Now I am being expected to prepare for and write the second opportunity, which is unfair, given that I did everything required during the first opportunity. This situation has caused unnecessary stress and academic disadvantage. I request NWU to urgently trace my script, process it accordingly, and release my rightful result without forcing me to rewrite an exam I already completed. This level of administrative negligence is unacceptable for an institution of higher learning.
The network service is awful I’ve been dealing with constant buffering and no connection for a week. I called them and got assistance for that day, but the problem returned the very next day.
I am a first-year student at North-West University, and I am facing an ongoing issue with a hold on my student portal that is preventing me from registering for the 2025 academic year. I am funding my studies through a student loan and have already submitted the confirmation letter. However, despite multiple follow-ups, the issue remains unresolved. I have made several attempts to contact the relevant university departments, but my calls go unanswered, and I have not received any clear explanation or assistance regarding the hold. This delay is causing unnecessary stress and frustration, as I am unable to proceed with my academic registration.
I recently posted a review on Helopeter after paying the full amount of R7500 to have my debt review removed. The next day, I received a call from one of their agents confirming that I had been cleared from debt review. However, I later discovered that I am still under debt review, and the red flag is still active. They are ****mers, and I don't understand why this office is still operating, as they are taking advantage of people. I want my money back R7500 is a lot of money
African Bank is the worse bank ever. I regret opening credit with them. I have credit card with them and made arrangements to pay R50 every month. They have been deducting the R50 this month the amount went up to R2100 I don't understand how. When I can my bank they say it's a debit check. I have never made agreement for debit check of amount of R2100 our agreement was R50. This is ***** I want my money back. These are trying to revive an old credit . I open this credit in 2012 to my surprise it's still active. Every once in a while they will debit in my account. Can credit last for over 12 years. The other loan I opened at the same time with this credit card was closed
