Even though you have a debit order in place, these people will send you countless SMSs over a long weekend claiming that you are in arrears. Even after the debit order has gone off after the long weekend, they continue sending messages saying you have failed to make payment. They cause unnecessary stress and waste your airtime. Then, after you call and they confirmed that they have received payment, they send another SMS a few days later saying that your account is in arrears! This accounts department is a MESS. I really hope that our credit scores won’t be affected because of Connect Financial. I will not buy from any furniture store again if Connect Financial is handling the accounts.

For those waiting for your deposit refund, forget about it. Don't even bother taking them to the tribunal. They will not show up for the mediation or court date but the tribunal will rule in their favour. I am here to save your time. Do not waste your time going to this place. They will NOT help you. My case dragged for over a year. Necron (the managing agents that ****** me of my deposit) didnt show up for the mediation or court date and the tribunal still ruled in their favour. There was no evidence from Necrons side and at the time the tribunal themselves didnt understand all the charges that was being deducted from my deposit. Their reason for not ruling my favour was because they never had the full lease agreement which was emailed to them but they do not check their emails. You will literally have to run after them. It is not worth your time and energy to run after them only to have them rule in the managing agents favour. I told them i will not even start the process of disputing the ruling cause that will take another year. If they want to refund you R1000 out of R6000 , take it and walk away. If they dont want to give you anything, leave them all in the hands of God and walk away.God will do a better job but the tribunal will not. God does not sleep and He will remember the people that ****** you and that are unjust.
Based on the reviews re. collections, it will be advisable that you call a person first before handing them over! I just received an SMS that my account has been handed over for collection. I have proof of cancelation and I even went into the branch (knowing how useless telkom is) where a final statement was printed out and settled that very day to ensure I will not receive a bill again as my 24 month contracted ended and it was also confirmed that my account has been canceled. 15 days later , I receive an SMS for collection??? Rectify this on your side and make sure my name is cleared!!!!!!!! I do not want your mistakes and unproductiveness affecting my credit in anyway!
Received a call at 8:30 this morning from 021 285 0930 , this rude lady told me that my contract is up for renewal. I told her I won't be renewing my contract and she dropped the call !? Please don't get people like this to call us. Because of her I will never take out any contract with telkom
