I ordered something from the USA. The supplier gave me a tracking number for DHL, but the item never arrived. I contacted DHL in SA and Sade Eiman from Customer Care got back to me. Her attentiveness and professionalism in assisting me are to be commended. I was impressed with her service. In the end there was no fault on DHL's side - the supplier in the USA just never shipped the item, despite providing the DHL waybill number!
Superb service from this company - my spare parts enquiry was efficiently dealt with by Sontago Mahibila. The handle of my cordless vacuum cleaner broke. I contacted Bosch through their website to find out if a replacement part was available. So many companies never respond to queries sent through their website, but BSH responded in less than 24 hours. They had a replacement part and it was delivered to me in under a week. Smooth, seamless process. What a pleasure dealing with BSH - their service is a breath of fresh air.
I placed an online with Dischem on 2 July 2020. Dischem notified me that they were unable to deliver one of the items, but that I would get a refund for this. The order minus the missing item was delivered on 8 July 2020. To date, 31 July 2020, I have still not received the refund,. I have sent their so-called "Careline" two emails to query the lack of refund, with no response. This is shocking service from Dischem. Why do I have to wait a month for a refund? They certainly don't make it pleasant buying from them. And their "Careline" is a joke - they show absolutely no care towards their clients.
On 14 April 2020 I placed an online order for printer cartridges and the payment for R1 620.00 went through on 17 April. From 4 May I have called their centre number 086-1477467 several times to find out what the delivery status is. So far I have wasted over 30 minutes of airtime while I listen to their music. I called HP Fourways Mall store to find out if they could help me, but despite taking my name & number down, I have not had any feedback from them. My HP laptop died two weeks ago and I asked HP Fourways for a quote to replace it. I am still waiting for a response on that too. I have been a loyal customer of HP for more than 20 years - laptops & printers - HP have definitely lost me as a customer. I bought a Dell laptop to replace my HP and when my HP printer dies, I will certainly not get another HP printer.
My laptop died a sudden death one Sunday during the lockdown. I spent the Monday researching replacement options and availability - stock levels are low because of the demand for home schooling & working from home. Placed the order on Tuesday with PC International and they delivered on Thursday. Amazing service, especially considering the pressures of the lockdown period. Well done, Donovan Ferreira in the sale department.
In September 2018 I asked Miele (Pty) Ltd if they could supply an extra oven rack for my Miele stove. They said it would have to be delivered from Germany and then I never heard from Miele again about this until I got an invoice in November 2019 for the oven rack. I never received the rack. When I asked for proof of receipt, Victor from Miele sent me two worksheets for work Miele said they had done for me. One was for work they had done and which I had paid for, the other was for delivery of the oven rack. The customer signatures on the two worksheets are quite different. I pointed this out to Victor and told him that the signature on the oven rack worksheet is not mine. I also sent him an email confirming this. Despite this, in February 2020 Miele has now handed over this account to lawyers. It is absolutely shocking that Miele is demanding payment for a part they never delivered to me. I know I did not receive the oven rack. Miele is unable to provide any proof that they delivered it to me. It seems that Miele's strategy is to harass me, so that I will in desperation pay for the part, even though I never received it. What an awful company.
Booked Man with a Van for a two-way move between Joburg and Hartbee****rt. They arrived on time, did a great job with both moves and finished far earlier than I had expected. The driver and the two movers were a delight to deal with. Wonderful service all around, from the booking onwards.
<p>I used Eezi-Move for a small move from Durban to Ballito. Cornelius and Sabelo attended to the work and they were friendly, obliging, quiet and efficient. I needed all the kitchenware packed up - crockery, cutlery, cookware etc, which they did smoothly and quickly. I had arranged for cartons and packing material to be delivered the previous week for boxes I wanted to packmyself and the cartons and materials were delivered efficiently and on time. My first enquiry was online and it is a great service. From the start communication and response times were good - Monique Pelser the sales agent as well as Etienne who booked the work. The packers arrived on time and had everything they needed. A good, reliable service and one I would not hesitate to recommend.</p>
<p>Last year we had to replace our small inverter system at home that had been installed in 2008. A friend recommended Greenleaf. They replaced the inverter with a system that is far neater and quieter than what we had before. And gives more hours backup power. And cost less.</p> <p>I was so impressed with them - response times, communication, notifications, level of knowledge - that our homeowners association used them when we had to replace the inverter system at our complex. Once again, a joy to deal with. Did what they said they were going to do and when. They know their stuff - certainly the most knowledgeable of all the inverter suppliers I had contacted. And the most pleasant to deal with. At installation they worked efficiently and neatly. The whole system cost us less than the system we installed in 2008, is giving us more hours of backup power and the inverter itself is less than a quarter of the size of the previous one we had and super silent. And their after sales service is exemplary. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
