Blink Finance

Blink Finance give you false Pre Approvals
I app**** for a payday loan with Janine from Blink Finance and got a pre approval. I was asked to upload either 3 months bank statements or Payslips as proof of income and I uploaded my bank statements. After all my time and effort, I got a message stating that my application was declined and I must try after 30 days. I called Janine and spoke to her and she told me that she will make a plan for me and until now I am still waiting for her to get back to me. I am a seriously frustrated client and will never recommend Blink finance to anyone. They are just a waste of time and effort.

Worst customer service ever
I app**** for a WIFI connection with Afrihost in the beginning of October 2025 and I had no idea that I would be billed immediately for the first month. I called in to make arrangements to be debited twice on the 01/11/2025 and the agent agreed via WhatsApp that two premiums will go off on the 01/11/2025. I was happy until I started receiving emails that my service will be suspended on the 20/10/2025 for non payment and when I contacted Afrihost, the accounts department was absolutely rude and have no way of speaking to clients. They said that there was no agreement that I made which states that the agent agreed to me making my first payment on the 01/11/2025 even though I sent them proof of the conversation via WhatsApp which clearly states that I can make two payments on the 01/11/2025. My service has been suspended on the 20/10/2025 and now I am without an internet connection for work. I have been sent an email just today stating that if I don't settle the full outstanding amount by the 31/10/2025, my service will be completely cancelled. What an experience for a first time client at Afrihost, extremely disappointed in you guys.

Worst FNB Atm experience ever
The worse experience I have ever had in my life.I withdrew cash at an FNB Atm in Lenasia south and no money came out of the ATM.The incident took place on the 20/09/2023 and today is the 09/10/2023 and I was told that the money would be back in my account after 5 days.I went into the branch,FNB trade route mall twice and was told that within 24 hours the money will be paid back into the account however,19 days later and not even a phone call to say that they are going to pay my money. The service I received was the worse ever and all my debits bounced due to not having sufficient funds. Its really sad how FNB staff make their customers fools.

most frustrating experience ever
This is the worse company to ever deal with regarding a payment arrangement. I fell behind with my Wonga account and called SSDA to make an arrangement to pay off the outstanding debt and was refused a payment arrangement letter which I needed desperately to obtain employment. How do they expect me to pay off my debt if I cannot get employment due to them? I am extremely frustrated.

Wonga must fall
Good day, I am a frustrated client who fell behind with payment due to job loss and now that I have made an arrangement to pay off my Wonga account, I was refused an arrangement letter confirming that there is an arrangement in place which I needed desperately for new employment. I was told my account has been sold to SSDA Attorneys and upon calling them, I was also refused a payment arrangement letter. How do they expect me to pay off my debt to them if I cannot get employment due to not having an arrangement letter?

MTN HR PROCESSES A NIGHTMARE
Good day, I have been an MTN employee between 2013/2014 and I was requested by SARS to obtain my IRP5 for the tax year 2014. I have been trying to call MTN for the past three weeks with no luck what so ever. Every time I call and ask to be transferred to someone who can help, they say that they do not know who can assist as the HR department do not have a direct contact number. MTN is the only company that has nothing in place for an Ex staff member to obtain important docs. Please can someone assist urgently as my tax refund is dependent on my MTN IRP5

Most unsatisfied Momentum client
Momentum is the worst company that FNB could ever trust with their employees pension fund.I called in about a month ago to enquire about what my fund was sitting on and I was told +- R126000 which lead me to resigning from FNB as I have a mum who has been diagnosed with cancer and I needed to pay for her treatment in Cape Town and after I have worked my months notice in after resigning, Momentum tells me that my payout is only R90000 because the market has dropped due to Corona Virus. They made me make the decision to leave work because of the initial R126000 and now R90000? Where is the fairness in that? I am a very unsatisfied client as my job was my everything at FNB and now its too late to go back as I have already worked in my notice

SPCA

Johannesburg SPCA in it for the money
On the 24 April 2019 the Booysens spca came and took my 11 month old pitbull away due to a wooden dog shelter which was not to their standards and the dog being tied up.I am really disappointed with the SPCA and really believe that they are just in it for the money and nothing more.I have explained to the inspector Ronald that I need to get paid first in order to abide to their requirements and get a new dog kennel which I habe since gotten. The reason why I kept her tied during the day was due to my domestic worker who was afraid of her however, I let her loose at 3pm daily, as soon as my domestic left for home.I grew Sasha up from a 6 week old pup and fed her top of the range food twice daily and made special cooked food for her on weekends.I bought her for R2000 from a breeder in June 2018 and made sure that she was well taken car of in every possible way.I was even given a compliment from the SPCA for how healthy she was kept. Ronald who is the chief inspactor of the spca came and took her from my house on the 24 April and it was an experience that I would never forget. The feeling of loosing a child and the emotional toture that he had put me and my family through was highly unacceptable. He is the most rude and arrogant man Inhave ever met in my life and never even gave me a chance to explain why I had Sasha tied up.He insulted me and told me that he is going to call the police for me if I say anything. He also questioned my affordability and said that I cannot afford to look after the dog, not knowing that I have a top job in one of the largest firms in SA with a monthly salary of R25000. There are over 30 dogs running in the street in my area and the spca would not even consider getting those dogs homes.but would rather take a healthy pitbull away that had the most love that anyone could ever give an animal for their own benefi***** all about.which dog looks great enough to be adopted and for them to get quick money.Perhaps Sasha could pay a salary.A day after they took her I went to reclaim her and was told that I need R320 to get her back.I had.the money available and was really excited.I drove from Lenasia to Booysens.and when I got there, a lady at the cashier desk said its R560 as they need to microchip the dog before I take her.Not habing enough funds on me, I had to drive back to Lenasia and before I could come up with the funds, it was too late to go back as they were closed. The monday after I got a call from them stating that the fee to keep her is increasing daily which means that I woupd need to pay per day for them to keep her until I cover up the funds.Yesterday 3 May 2019 they called me and said that I can come and adopt her for R900.My issue is, when they took her from my yard, did they have to pay R900 before taking her? Why do I have to pay to get my own dog back which I grew up and spent thousands on from a little pup? They are heartless and dont care about the emotional damage the cause to innocent people. I have been to their shelters and they have Sasha locked in a small cage and dozens of other dogs as well. What justice is that?Does that make her live in any better condition or make her happier than being with me as her father? I leave it in gods hands, lets see where this ends up.
