The application was quick and easy and approval is almost instant after submitting documents. Appreciated the call from Mikhail who was friendly and efficient. Will be recommending the card to others.
Lack of communication. I app**** for a credit card on Monday. I was provisionally approved and had to submit certified copies of proof of income...which I did. To date, no response or feedback. Other banks give you instant responses. I feel like cancelling the whole process.
From beginning to end, it was a pleasure dealing with Africa Direct. They were informative, helpful, patient and really know what they are doing. Carlo Burgess was our account manager and he was on top of everything, all the time. If I could give them more stars, I would. Thank you Africa Direct for helping us gain our financial freedom.
I went to the branch to close my credit card in last month. They told me I wouldn't be able to use the card and was fine with that. This morning I see that charges were taken whereas this credit card should no longer be active. I called your customer service and they don't know what is going on. Those charges must be reversed and the credit card closed. I cannot be held liable for costs for a card I am not using and do not want. This is frustrating having to deal with a financial institution who have staff who don't know what they're doing.
I paid up my loan and credit card. Requested twice to close my accounts. I no longer want the credit card and yet, you debited my account, again. Why was this debit order not stopped? Why do I have to waste my time to call and yet no one does anything. I want my debit order reversed including bank fees and confirmation that this credit card is no longer active. While you're at it, close the.My World account because I have had enough of dealing with AFB. This is frustrating.
I got an sms saying my account is in arrears for this month but you never debited and there us sufficient funds. I called this morning and dealt with *********** people who didn't even bother to check my account. Instead I was transferred from one person to another. Now you tell me my credit record will be affected because of STANDARD BANK?
If there were no stars then I would give them no stars. Pathetic service and they couldn't care less about an emergency situation. Systems don't work and then it becomes the clients problem. Customer service is unhelpful. I am canceling all my policies with them. I will rather pay more some place else and get proper service.
I app**** for a new phone but since then, it's been a pain dealing with Vodacom. No one called about the delivery, but they went to my house and wouldn't leave the phone with my son. Fine. I messaged Skynet on their Whatsapp and they advised the driver would call. No call. I tried reaching them again, no response. I called your customer care, the call cuts. I called your cancellations department, they cut the call. I don't want the phone anymore and I am going to stop the debicheck. I dont have time to struggle like this and you should strongly consider a new courier company as they will constantly be the reason you lose customers.
My account has been paid up for months and yet, you still deduct, monthly. I have called several times and am told the account will be closed and the debit order stopped but to no avail. What is it going to take to get you to stop debiting my account and then refunding and back and forth every month? This is frustrating.
After going back and forth, wasting money on calls and time on emails, I am going to close my account. Don't assign pesonal bankers who have no interest in even bothering to respond to you. Don't make promises of services to be delivered and you don't do so. Is it because I am average person who doesn't have 6 or 7 figures in my account? And tell Zainab that after saying that I should contact if I need anything and then she just doesn't bother to respond to anything, is very ****py service. And don't bother to call me because every person I speak to at the bank is just lying and saying things they think I want to hear to shut me up.
