I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2017, as the disease progressed and the fact that I had no medication for the first almost 7 years and that after I went to a state hospital and the diagnosis was confirmed by their doctors I did not receive the much needed medication. In 2021 I was retrenched due to my health. Up to date a family member has been paying my retirement annuity for me. I however had to request that the annuities be paid out under ill health now as I do not have any money to live off or any help anymore. On 25 November 2024 my broker confirmed that the claim was submitted. On 05/12/2024 I through my own struggle got conformation that my claim has been approved, my Sars tax directive was received by them on the same day. I contacted them the following day, in which conversation it was said to me that the department that receives the tax directive also loads the payment however it was estimated that it will take 1 week to do. In every call I made to Old Mutual I asked very nicely that the payment be done as fast as possible as I have no money thus no food, nothing. I oncwe again very politely and decently requesed the payment to be done as fast as possible. One whole work day was available to them to do so but nothing. It's going on 5 days that I could not buy myself food or anything, and I am seriously hungry. But it was the same with my two pot withdrawal.
I submitted my two-pot withdrawal 11 days ago, up to now I have not received the falsely promised feedback via email, sms or whatsapp. When I called to inquire the status of my request no one at the call centre could assist me they however did advise me to check on the WhatsApp channel which I did but there is no such link on there. I also cannot determine if Old Mutual has requested my tax directive from Sars. This is becoming a alarming for me. Should I move my retirement annuities to another company? Also I have numerous friends who requested their withdrawals from other companies and they have already received their money. Why doesn't Old Mutual keep to the initial 7/8 day period as stated.
I don't know how anyone would want to open an account with this bank. I went to the branch in October, handed in my proof of residence but the branch never sent in the documents when I collected my card. Now in January when I want to access my funds, I am blocked due to the branch incompetence. Then I go in now and once again hand in my proof of residence. Also I did the same thing at Capitec Bank and Fnb. They did the updates on the same day without ever blocking my accounts. It takes 3 working days just to update my proof of residence and unblock my account for me to access my fund by African Bank.
I bought a Mazda 3 from Motorworld Rustenburg last year April. Upon picking up the vehicle I pointed out to the salesman who is the owner's son the faults on the car ie. that there is an inner bumper liner missing and the left mirror needs to be replaced. About 3 months after I bought the vehicle the front bumpers paint started peeling off which the salesman agreed to fix 1as well as once again undertaking to fix the initial faults. However by end of November 2021 when I was unfortunately in an accident and the vehicle written off nothing had come from the numerous promises the salesman made. I then requested that the costs of such repairs be paid to me but after the phone call in which the salesman agreed to the payment being made nothing has happened up to date. They received full payment for the vehicle which was supposed to be 100% right but gave me a vehicle that had faults on, thus they commited fraud. I still need to buy a new vehicle and that monies will serve as a deposit.
What is theuseof medical aid? I had a medical aid, was admitted to hospital and diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2017. After getting out of hospital I applied to my medical aid with letters from my neurologist stating there is already damage done and that I need treatment which they refused because I had to have a second relapse before payment for treatment would be considered. Now 5 years onwards I am struggling to walk, I have problems with my eyes, I have had a minor stroke and numerous other health problems due to my multiple sclerosis which was left untreated.

I had a policy with Liberty Life which I cancelled due to poor growth on it. Now for the past 4 years there is monthly deductions for Management fees and some months there are double deductions for this. I am losing money which they apparently invest and claim fees for such but there has been no growth on this policy. No interest added but only deductions made. If I transfer the money to another company it's going to cost me and apparently I cannot withdraw the money due to the amount. What now? I am only losing money and they don't seem to care at all.
I did a review in Dec 2017 and Vodacom responded but up to date has not responded again after I highlighted certain facts. They really are not willing to sort out complaints and problems.
I did a migration and upgrade in October, the new contract only took effect on 1 November 2017 but I was charged for the handset instalmet from September 2017. When I did the migration and upgrade I was told there is only a R100 handset instalment but now it is R500 per month. I have sent numerous emails to Vodacom but no resolve has been given.
