Shoddy customer service in every way
Sent in my watch 3 weeks ago as the battery was draining really fast. Getting hold of them is a nightmare - the phone doesn't work, and emails take 2-3 days response time every single time. They claim that the screen was cracked and thus the warrantee is voided. But there was NO damage, and on asking for an image of the supposedly damaged screen I have been waiting for 3 days now.

Telkom Mobile network coverage map lies, unreliable 3G coverage nationwide
Internet access incredibly inconsistent on Telkom Mobile using an iPhone (even when I apparently have full 3G signal), and while I live in an area that has excellent signal according to the network map, I have coverage about 30% of the time. Have reported in numerous times, even had people come out, over a period of 18 months, with zero change.

10 days to cash a FNB to FNB cheque?!
We were told that a cheque would take 24 hours to clear, which made sense as it's from FNB to FNB. But after two days, we called the call centre and were told that it'll take 10 days in fact. Apparently we needed to request some sort of immediate clearance for it to be processed sooner, at a fee of course. How can it take 10 DAYS to process a cheque in the 21st century, even more so when both accounts are at the same bank? Ridiculous.

Want a stress ulcer? Join FNB
FNB falsely advertises the benefits of its Premier Credit Card and encourages you to upgrade accordingly. And when I called FNB and was told about the false information and cancelled the upgrade, they have literally ignored me. On calls they claim not to be able to see the reference numbers they emailed me for the complaints and requests. Multiple phone calls and emails for over a month, a visit to the branch, and I now have no usable credit card and it's cost me over R400. Even the friendly branch manager has not contacted me as promised. My experience with FNB goes from bad to worse. Not sure how much lower it can go.

Great experience all round
Schindlers in Johannesburg South (Aspen area) were exceptional in dealing with my house sale. Great communication, and did everything they promised, above and beyond the basics. Best experience ?I have had selling or buying a property!

Almost everything promised on opening a new account doesn't happen.
I recently opened a personal account at FNB, and it has been incredibly frustrating so far. They offer debit order switching, but the only two I asked them to do both failed. FNB mailed me and said that the provider didn't do auto-switching, when I opened the document FNB had given them my incorrect account details for my previous account, naming the wrong bank! I emailed to request that this be resolved and got an auto-reply and nothing more. My physical address on my statement is somehow still the one I had when I had an old FNB Business Account 12 years ago, even though I sent through new Proof of Residence The email address on my contact form is the same, even though on my official profile the address is correct. They also offer to move your beneficiaries over, and 3 weeks later this isn't done yet either. Finally, when my card came the document attached said I could activate it on the FNB App, the FNB app however would not let me log in until the account was activated. Chicken and egg... eventually I called in and that worked. So far, mighty unimpressed.

Stolen R200 000 from a nonprofit organisation
GloTrade provided us, an education nonprofit, with the incorrect tablets. On returning them as requested, the company refused to refund us, and have ignored several letters of demand. Seeing that they have numerous other judgments against them, we know that we have very little chance of getting any money back, although we hope to make sure the company is liquidated so they can't do this to anyone else.
