Booked Cape Town Airport, 7-day rental. Toyota Urban Cruiser (4 of us with luggage). Car was fine. Returned on time with full tank. All good I thought... Had paid Booking.com R3.5K for booking. Blu took another R8K on pickup (I assumed deposit) and another R.5K a few weeks later (card deduction no explanation). So R12K for the weeks rental.. so far Last time I go near this company.
Ordered a 2nd hand (B grade) galaxy phone online. Got a call next day saying the phone was damaged (cracked lens) so they would check warehouse if there was another available. Called back a couple of days later to say they found one (grade A) and delivered next day. So Happy with the outcome. Will use them again..
Bought LG 12000BTU dual inverter wall split unit with installation package online for our bedroom. Installation team arrived on site with everything as arranged for installation. Have to say, was impressed with their professional and efficient work. Was expecting to have to do some cleanup afterwards - brick dust etc.. But they cleaned up as they went and had the tools/equipment for the job. Very happy with the installation and LG unit works well. Would definitely buy from AC Direct again.
Ordered twice in past few months and outstanding service all the way..good communications from order to delivery right up to your door..Reasonable pricing as well.
Been getting my printer ink refills here for a few years now. Generally very good prices - and reliable delivery to my door. As long as they keep delivering, I'll keep buying.
Got an AVIS rental (VW Polo) to get from King Shaka airport to my home in the KZN midlands. And did a drop-off the next day at Oribi airport (AVIS) in PMB. Everything went to plan except after the drop-off, they then deducted almost R30K from my bank account (They invoiced me for over 10,000km). I've sent messages to them with phone pics I had of the speedo before and after (proving I did less than 200km). But no response at all so far (don't care if they don't want to answer - but give the money back!) Can't understand how the invoice even got produced - The rental period was 22hrs so the car would need to fly at over 450km/hr for the entire period to make up 10,000km.
Bought an energy guard bubble pool cover about 5yrs ago and drop it on our pool (8.5m x 2.5m) when we are away travelling or during winter and you can forget the pool cleaning and chlorinating - certainly worth the cost. when you remove the cover the water is still clear (no algae) and just a bit of dirt on the pool bottom that gets in from the edges of the cover that you have to clean. Got a couple of cracks in the top of it now so ordered a replacement one last month. Power Plastics delivered the new one a couple of days later. So Yeah, still happy and will definitely continue using their product...
Ordered a pool cleaner from their online store. Their communication throughout the order, pick, deliver process was excellent and delivered to my door a few days later on schedule. So yeah, its a big hand-full from me.
Just received this email. First contact since they took my order and payment a year and half ago and didn't deliver.. suppose it's a positive that they acknowledge the need for a refund.. "Dear Valued Customer, It is with deep regret to notify you that due to unforeseen business challenges, please note that there is going to be a delay in processing your refund. Please expect your full refund in the next 30 to 90 days. We sincerely do apologize for any inconveniences caused by this delay Yours sincerely Manicaa.com"
Am a amateur woodworker & I tried BPM Toolcraft for my recent orders as their pricing was reasonable and delivery much quicker than overseas. Was happy with everything until last order - arrived missing a box of *****s. Suspect they were out of stock on that one & sent the rest but invoiced everything. I sent a couple of emails but never got a response. So have written off the *****s (was a small amount) and I'm back with amazon.
