Based on recent customer reviews, PNA Stationers receives sharply divided feedback across its branches. Customers consistently praise individual staff members who deliver warm, knowledgeable, and personalised service, particularly during stationery shopping for school. However, a recurring theme involves frustration with strict return and exchange policies, incorrect textbooks supplied, unresolved payment disputes, and perceived rudeness from certain managers. Loyalty card changes have also drawn complaints about lost points. While standout employees create memorable experiences, inconsistent management responses and after-sales support remain a notable pain point for shoppers.

I went to purchase project material and the consultant was friendly and had exceptional product knowledge and listed options. Northgate Shopping Center.

The PNA Cape Gate store refused to do a return of a calendar I purchased at another PNA store. Saying they no longer have stock of the product and therefore cannot do a return. It was only after I requested to see the store manager and ask which platform I can use to put in a complaint Then only were they willing to do the return. I wonder what changed then??

I bought A5 Lino sheets x 5 at PNA Mall of Africa and we only used 2 sheets and I went to PNA Raslouw Centurion to return what was not used only to be told I must return them at the store I bought them from, It's the first I have heard of such. If I am from Limpopo and bought a product in Gauteng, I must drive all the way back to return it. The manager was not even interested, and he said this with a straight face and nowhere in the receipt and upon purchasing this was mentioned.

Yesterday, Sunday, I was privileged to have a shopping experience second to none for friendliness, helpfulness and making it a pleasurable experience. The staff I dealt with at PNA, Whale Coast Mall. Herm**** are to be complimented and thanked for helping me select what I needed to build my project, clock making. I left feeling way better than I did when I walked in. Many thanks to all of you.

I have had a bad experience at this store , person who said shes the owner of the store responded to me via email as Karen Korsten , she rep**** to my email saying it should have been campus square but they have various stores ,why did she mention this store cause it seems as if she has a number of complaints to my understanding. I received an email as well as a call , I could not attend too was doing laundry.I attended the store to buy balloons , mini black board and a journal Bible. I went back to the store the following day to buy the juice pilot pens for R800.Initially when the cashier gave me the receipt I dont remember her giving me back my card. The card was then used in tap to pay transactions in Randburg.I then reached out cause I was distracted when leaving the store and focusing on my 1 month old baby.I then asked for camera footage and if a video can be sent to me via WhatsApp the owner Karen Kirsten said her staff does not take cards from customers an she cannot assist me any further ,yet over the weekend I asked if she can please check the CCTV footage she agreed ans said she will do it today which is Monday, suddenly today shes saying she camt help me CCTV footage is not working , yet it is of vita importance for it to work. How can the CCTV footage not work when this is requested by me , to confirm if I took the card from the cashier as I told her to keep all receipts ,when walking out of the store maybe it could he she kept the card or i took it an lost it along the way ,I have proof of communication via email and WhatsApp shes insinuating the staff member never took my card , what a time to be alive , so if payment is made one obviously have to hand the machine and card back to the cashier to confirm payment.Shes insinuating all this to my understanding it seems as if shes covering for staff members and previously said this could be *****.It can't be ***** cause this person has my card with them.

Talk about a truly welcoming, world‑class service experience. I walked into PNA Silverwater Stationers today in my painting work clothes, fully expecting judgment or uncomfortable looks—but I experienced the complete opposite. From the moment I approached the door, I was genuinely welcomed. Busi greeted me with a warm smile, asked how she could help, and guided me straight to what I needed, even suggesting helpful product combinations. What impressed me most was her thoughtfulness—she handled the items herself when she noticed my hands were covered in paint, all while remaining friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. At the till, the exceptional service continued. The cashier was polite and even stepped away from the counter to help me choose puzzles, taking time to explain the differences. As I left, another staff member’s friendly gesture persuaded me to buy a fountain pen I hadn’t planned on getting. It’s rare to receive such sincere, respectful service—especially when you’re not dressed your best. The entire team made me feel valued from start to finish
