The Metal Industries Benefit Funds Administrators (mibfa)
Based on recent customer reviews, The Metal Industries Benefit Funds Administrators (mibfa) is drawing overwhelmingly negative feedback centred on claim and payout delays, with customers consistently mentioning withdrawal, provident, pension, and deceased benefit claims stretching across months and even years. A recurring theme is poor communication, including unanswered emails, long phone wait times, and being transferred between consultants without resolution. Customers also describe repeated requests to resubmit documents and contradictory updates on claim status. A solitary positive account highlights an in-branch experience where a named consultant processed a claim quickly and professionally.

The most don't give a **** attitude company you will ever get the privilege to deal with when you really need them. Its like they don't understand that you need the unemployment fund money in times like this when it's hard to find work and you still have your bills to pay every month But you can't because mibfa employees got all the time in the world. It takes them 30min to answer the phone and then they get upset because you want to no why it's taking so long.. Any person or employer who was thinking of using MIBFA Metal Industries Provident Fund DON'T They do as little as possible for as long as possible

Worst , worst , worst service !!! We submitted a claim almost 4 weeks ago . Everytime you want to follow up you firstly have to wait for who knows how long for them to answer and when they eventually answer, for 3 weeks they tell you the claim is still at processing. DO BETTER !!

I submitted a court order in October 2025, since I have been sent from pillar to post. I was requested to courier documents to them in three different occasions I have done so but still I am requested to courier again the same documents I have submitted in October. At first my case was handled by Cavin Sebatane now it is handled by Phumzile. To my surprise the same documents I have sent to Cavin, Phumzile expects me to re courier to her. She even threatened to put my case aside and not continue with payment. I am sick and tired of this treatment and waste of my time and money.
