I had an account in arrears they offered me a settlement with discount and I paid it sent them the proof and it is more than 2 months no paid up letter. What is worse on my credit profile it shows that I paid the amount of the settlement but I still owe the rest of the money. I have sent more than 10 emails. Called more than 30 times either I am transferred to someone that knows less than the previous one or I am fully hung up on. Today 21 May I have called 4 times and been hung up on 4 times.

I receive a settlement letter from the call center agent: Kgomotso Mogole email address - [email protected], on the 23 April 2026. The settlement amount was valid till the 30 April 2026. On the 30 April 2026 I made a full and final payment as per my settlement letter received and I forward the proof of payment to Kgomotso Mogole on the 04 May 2026. I followed up with various emails and even cc'd the CEO of Landau into the emails, Rael Landau. No feedback. I phoned last week Friday; 08 May 2026 and I got hold of Kgomotso Mogole and she informed me that they received my proof of payment and the amount reflect in their account. As per Kgomotso Mogole, they have 21 working days to provide me a paid up and account closure letter and to pay the amount over to Lendplus. This is absolutely absurd. Why must a customer wait 21 days for a paid up and account closure letter after he paid and the amount already reflect in the Companies bank account, is it to accumulate interest on the monies that was paid? In the meantime, I am receiving phone calls from LendPlus stating that I owe them monies and all I have is the settlement letter as well as the proof of payment. I even check my account on LendPlus website, and it is still open. I want me paid up letter and account closure letter to be forward (e-mailed) to me before end of business today, 12 May 2026. I am done begging and asking nicely. If not received before end of business today, I WILL BE FORCED to take further steps.

Umable to jelp Pass the buck to Lancet when enquiry is made I paid this account TWICE now and still LADAU and lancet harrass us for R369.80 of a patien that passed away in november 2025 I provided the death certificate to Landau and lancet and still no one wanymts to help. Yes I am angry and rude because i have now tried sorting this out since January and no one sort it out. PATHETIC

This is honestly the worst company I've ever dealt with! I settled my Planet Fitness account in 2020, but every year at about the same time I start getting emails and messages from Landau that I owe them. Every time I send the proof of payment and correspondence and every time I'm promised that they will clear my name from their system. The Admin dpt from this company obviously is hired straight out of grade school with zero experience. Can somebody please close down these clowns for good!

I am extremely disappointed in my experience with Landau Collections. For several months now, I have been receiving persistent and harassing phone calls claiming I have outstanding payments. This is despite the fact that I have sent them clear and detailed bank statements showing consistent monthly debit orders—ranging between R200 and R300—from February 2025 to May 2025. I first raised this issue via email on 2 June 2025, providing all the necessary documentation and requesting a thorough review of my account. I also explicitly asked that the calls cease until the matter was resolved. To date, I have received no response. The calls, however, have continued—sometimes several times a week—which is not only stressful but also unprofessional, especially when the fault lies on their end. It is unacceptable that a company in the debt collection industry cannot keep accurate payment records or at the very least acknowledge a client's concern when evidence is presented. This situation reflects a serious lack of internal communication, poor customer service, and disregard for customer dignity. I urge Landau Collections to take accountability, investigate this matter properly, and stop the baseless harassment. Until then, I cannot recommend this company and would advise others to document everything and proceed with caution when dealing with them. If needed for reference, my ID number ends in 5080, and the full ID has already been submitted in prior communication with your team.

Good day, So, you have been harassing me and my son for way to long!! We received another letter of demand from Landau. Maybe you should get more competent people in your accounts department because I am tired of sorting your work out!! This has been carrying on since 2022. How many times must we tell you this account has been settled and closed on the 19/06/2022. I spoke to a lady Mirriam Matladie from Excalibur Saya on the 14th of June 2022 and she said if I pay R3 805.00 the account will be closed and settled. We paid the Money into Planet Fitness's Standard Bank of Sa's account ending with 363324 directly on 19/06/2022 Ref PF**********97. PS: I have my proof of correspondence and Proof of payment so you better sort this matter out. You are causing my son to have a bad credit score and this won't be tolerated!! DO YOUR WORK!!

I phoned the numbers on the letter, repeatedly, and they just ring and ring and ring. So they are uncontactable. How wonderful - very unprofessional.
