I ordered cheese fries, and upon receiving my meal, I discovered what appeared to be an insect in the food, mind you I already ate quarter of . I immediately brought this to the attention of the staff member who was preparing my order, but I was told that it was “just a seed.” However, it was clearly not a seed, and this response was both dismissive and concerning. I asked a random customer next to me and he confirmed “it looks like an insect of some sort”. In addition to this, the quality of the food itself was already disappointing, as I had been given what seemed like crumbed or leftover chips instead of proper fries. This made the situation even more frustrating. To make matters worse, today has already been a very difficult and emotional day for me due to the recent loss of my grandmother. Having to deal with such an unpleasant and unhygienic experience on top of that was extremely upsetting. I expect better standards of hygiene, food quality, and customer service from your establishment. I would appreciate it if this matter could be taken seriously and addressed accordingly. Please let me know what steps will be taken to prevent such incidents in the future. I was served by Anati at Alexandra Honchos.

Good Day Honchos, I would like to make a complaint against Honchos Trade route. I bought the family combo meal for R200 last night... To my dissatisfaction there was a worm in the Portuguese roll. I made a call to the outlet a moment ago and spoke to Emanual... The supervisor. He asked me to send him proof... After stating to me that customers like taking chances. Which is unprofessional and I don't appreciate the generalization there. Treat incidents as isolated. I sent him a video and he called me shortly to tell me that that's not their roll. He continued to say... It's fine even if you complain.

I thought i was being unfair until i saw the reviews on hellopeter about this business. Definitely they sell ROTTEN chicken and chicken wraps. i tried complaining on google maps they just chose to ignore me. Am honestly shocked how many people are unhappy about this business. you should close down if you going to sell rotten food.

I thought i was being unfair until i saw the reviews on hellopeter about this business. Definitely they sell ROTTEN chicken and chicken wraps. i tried complaining on google maps they just chose to ignore me. I buy food from this establishment very often, mainly because it is close to my business. They know me well and also know that I like fresh food. I have occasionally had to return food to them because of stale bread rolls or old soggy chips. Today I placed an order which should have consisted of 2 portions chicken, chips, a bread roll and a cold drink. I was shocked when I opened the box to literally find a total of 8 chips! Daylight *******! I will no longer support this business and will rather spend my cash elsewhere!

I just came back from buying Honchos Lenasia. I received burnt food...all three burgers were extremely burnt. I bought before and the burgers were burnt too....this is ridiculous. Staff talking long stories and laughing, not worried about the food they preparing. I will never return to Honchos Lenasia again. I am completely disgusted with the food prepared! I had to give it to my dog to eat and had to prepare food! What a waste of time! If I could, I would not even give 1 star!

I had a very disappointing and concerning experience at Honchos Springfield. I was served a mini loaf/roll with visible mould, which I only noticed halfway through eating. When I raised the issue with the manager, instead of taking full responsibility, he blamed the supplier. While he offered to replace the roll and add chips, this completely overlooked the real issue: I had already consumed part of the spoiled food, which raises serious health concerns. Food safety should be taken far more seriously, and I hope management implements better quality checks to prevent this from happening to other customers.
