Hi.. I went to Dr Y T Singh for my regular checked back in 2018. I did blood test at his rooms. I have sorted all my known shortfalls. This year in August 2019, I received a phone call from Global Labs demanding payment. They were very arrogant and rude. I also requested for their supervisor to contact me...yet no answer. Couple days later, they contacted me again and on my insistence I was able to communicate with the supervisor. I subsequently phoned Y T Singhs rooms to confirm my last visit. They did indicate that they used Global Labs. This claim had already gone over the normal period to claim from medical aid. I have not received any correspondence since the tests. They are now being persistent over their incompetency because nobody did they job to either send me the bill or call me prior to this claim becoming stale. I await their feedback

Seems like this is a norm. No Statements or invoices sent out and just handed over... Medical aid company's and doctors should not use them as they are unprofessional and use under handed ways with their collection company..

I received a messages from Boulderson and Associates about my account with Global Lab which is outstanding. I firstly didn’t know I had and account with Global Lab, apparently medical aid didn’t pay for some blood tests and I had a shortfall of R315. This I’m being told by the associates I’m being handed over to. When I called Gloval lab I was rudely told by the lady I spoke to that Global lab tried to call me and my phone was engaged and it’s my responsibility to follow up on accounts THAT I HAD NO IDEA I HAD TO BEGIN WITH. No other form of communication was attempted to even let me know about this and the first communication I get is one of this supposed handing over. When I contacted my medical aid I’m told the transaction is stale and they can’t even look into why I have to pay for a service that was supposed to be paid for by medical aid and I’m covered for. Terrible service from Global Lab and their call center agent who has no basic manners whatsoever. If I never have to deal with Global Lab it will be too soon. Pathetic business practice.

Unethical l business behaviour. I received an SMS this morning stating my husband owed Global Labs some money....I called them to enquire what this SMS was about as it was the first I heard of us owing them money....I was informed it was a balance the medical aid had not paid from the Jan 2018...I found this absolutely unacceptable as its the 11th month of the year and its the first I hear of... I never received an SMS prior to this but was told by the supervisor 1 SMS was sent out in FEBRUARY...I never got a call or a statement to say I owe this money and its almost a year since the treatment was done. This company had not informed me of the non payment so I could contact my medical aid to find out why this amount was not paid....it is now a stale account and the medical aid can do nothing to assist me...I find this very unfavourable business practice. People avoid using Global Lab as you might end up with a bill you never knew existed.
