CSI Property Management
Based on recent customer reviews, CSI Property Management is drawing significant dissatisfaction from tenants and homeowners across multiple estates. Customers consistently mention disputes over withheld deposits, perceived unfair charges for wear and tear, and slow or absent maintenance responses to electricity, plumbing, and structural issues. A recurring theme is poor communication, with residents describing dismissive agents and unresolved escalations. While an isolated voice praises a helpful staff member assisting with account matters, the prevailing tone reflects frustration with transparency, accountability, and the handling of tenant rights.

Extremely disappointed and unsatisfied with the process after exiting Casa Azul, they took all my deposit and still charged me extra for dirty walls that could’ve been cleaned, after they charged me for cleaning

I have been living at this property (Boardwalk Heights) for 7 years. When I first moved in during 2019 under Central Developments, everything was perfect and well-managed. However, since CSI Rentals took over in 2021, the management has completely deteriorated from good to absolutely terrible. On 2 April 2026, I received a formal termination letter from CSI Rentals informing me that the owner had sold the unit to a new investor who would be taking occupation, and that I was required to vacate the property by 31 May 2026. I had absolutely no say in this matter — I was forced out of my home of 7 years simply because the owner decided to sell. To make matters worse, because my alternative accommodation was only available from the end of April and I could not risk being left without a place to stay come the end of May, I had no choice but to move out at the end of April. Instead of showing any understanding of this very difficult and forced situation, CSI Rentals turned around and tried to charge me ‘early termination penalties’ for the month of May, claiming I ‘opted’ to leave early and caused the landlord to lose rental income. This is completely unreasonable and deeply unfair — I was given notice to leave because the unit was sold, not because I chose to go! I have repeatedly communicated that they are welcome to retain my deposit towards any amounts they believe are owed, yet they continue to harass me with repeated emails over these unjustified penalties. I have now had to involve my legal representatives because CSI Rentals refuses to act reasonably or with any decency. After 7 years of being a loyal tenant, this is how CSI Rentals treats you when circumstances beyond your control force you out of your home. If you are looking for a rental agency that values long-term tenants, communicates fairly, and manages properties with professionalism, look elsewhere. CSI Rentals has shown incredibly poor property management and a complete lack of basic human decency. Save yourself the stress and avoid them at all costs.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to formally escalate a matter that has not been resolved despite my previous communications with estate management regarding ongoing and unsubstantiated noise complaints against my household (Unit 90, Bronx Sky City). For the past two months, multiple complaints have been lodged against my family alleging excessive noise. These complaints have resulted in repeated visits by estate security, all of which have confirmed that there is no excessive noise or violation taking place. Despite this, the complaints persist. This now constitutes harassment, victimisation, and a failure by estate management to properly regulate and control the complaint process. It is deeply concerning that: No evidence has been produced to substantiate any of the complaints. No corrective action has been taken against individuals making repeated false allegations. My household continues to be subjected to unnecessary scrutiny and disturbance. This situation is a direct infringement on my right to quiet enjoyment of my residence, as protected under South African rental and sectional title principles. I therefore demand the following: A formal investigation into the source of these repeated complaints. Written confirmation of steps taken to prevent further harassment. A copy of the estate’s conduct rules and noise policies. Assurance that no further action will be taken against my unit without verified evidence. Failure to address this matter urgently will leave me with no alternative but to escalate the issue to the Community Schemes Ombud Service (CSOS) for formal dispute resolution, as well as pursue further legal remedies available to me. Please treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and respond within 5 working days.

Whatever you do avoid any property that is managed by CSI property management, they recently took over from Central development at San ridge heights apartments and it has been a nightmare since I moved out, the have withheld my deposit and are charging me unfairly for a unit that was not cleaned and painted when we moved it , I tried explaining this to them but they insist on charging me for normal four years of wear and tear , move in knowing that they will not give back your deposit and if you have issues they will not handle them

Please don't buy lease your property through CSI, as they cheat you as far as they possible can and do not do regular rental inspections as required.

Worst customer service. When I moved in my property in 2024 I was supposed to get 2 car stickers for gate access. However, I was given 1 with promise to get the second. Now after over a year, I am told I need to buy the 2nd sticker. 1. This was part of induction and should have been delivered. 2. I pay for services which are up to date. I shouldn't be treated this way. I am told the decision must be taken by superiors since documents are not in order. It is evident that either CSI is not audited or I'm being **** to. It's not about the sticker but honoring a service as a provider and respecting customers.
