They changed my web Cam belt, never replaced the oil, then my oil. after weeks of fighting as the owner in Springs have a few shops, their HQ is scared to take her on, i was advise any repairs will be on my own account, to Bosch Carnival who was awesome, which clearly is from a different cloth called me and told me they will take a know to do an oil Pressure and water pressure test and service my car for me and hopes it helps. Don't take your car to Bosch springs they will mess it up and not take responsibility and Bosch HQ is to scared to take on the owner.

These guys are completely useless. I have been taking my cars there for over 3 years and each and every time I get burned with terrible service, no answers, no communication and just more issues that arrive after they have done my vehicles. I have three vehicles that I have taken exclusively to them and some of the issues that I've had are as follows: 1. Diesel filter over tightened and cracked which cost me a full tank of diesel with no compensation 2. A water housing replaced, only later to find that just the seal needed to be replaced 3. A electrical windows switched replaced where the contacts only needed to be cleaned 4. Various issues after servicing my vehicles 5. Advertising free car wash vouchers with every service and to date, after 6 services, not having received one The most recent incident involved a broken inner door handle for my vehicle. I requested a quote from Bosch in order to supply and install a new door handle and they informed me that they are unable to source the handle and that I should source it myself (as they can not get it themselves and then that they would fit it), I then went through a month and a half process to get the handle imported as they are not available locally and then requested a price on the fitment as well as a request to replace gas struts in the boot. They then responded that they do not install customer provided parts. Mind blown as they said that they can't get it themselves and told me to source it. I then said okay, please quote me to supply and install if you can't install the part that you told me to source. It is now 48 hours later and I still don't have a quote. I have sent several messages to the service agent (Farial) and she just blatantly ignores people. She also has a very bad attitude and has the opinion that she is doing everyone a favour. I have messaged the manager (Sipho), who always promises to resolve the issue but then things just drag along. I am at my wits end and have tried my utmost to give Bosch an opportunity to assist but it always seems that they resort to making me beg for service. I use Bosch because you would think that they are reputable but all I have found is lies and a don't care attitude. I have not walked out of Bosch without paying less than R8000 and I have been there perhaps 10 times over the past 3 years with 3 of my vehicles. I have now had enough. I can't believe how these employees have jobs that deal that deal directly with customers and customer experience as they are not customer orientated. And they are just allowed to get away with it. there are no consequences for them. If you must use Bosch, avoid Farial all together. I have evidence, WhatsApp correspondence, email correspondence to back up and validate what I am saying. I have had AA warranties tell me that parts that Bosch could have repaired with a new seal, Bosch chose to replace entirely. I have lodged formal complaints with Bosch, but that has also just been brushed off and swept under the rug.

My Ford Ranger was taken to Bosch Amanzimtoti in July 2024 due to compression issues and overheating. The vehicle only came back to me in December 2024, after months in their workshop and repairs costing approximately R120,000. Less than 1,000 km after these repairs, the vehicle overheated again and suffered serious engine damage. This is the very same problem the vehicle was originally booked in for, which clearly indicates that the issue was not properly diagnosed or repaired. What is most unacceptable is that Bosch Amanzimtoti now expects me to pay again for further repairs, despite the fact that the failure occurred shortly after their work and within minimal mileage. The vehicle was entrusted to them specifically to resolve this problem, not to return it in a worse condition. This experience has been financially draining, stressful, and extremely disappointing. A reputable workshop should stand by their workmanship, especially after such costly repairs. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Bosch Amanzimtoti and strongly advise others to be cautious.

Thanks to Riaan Myburgh and the team for the great service done on my car on the 16 October 2025. The team is very professional they kept me updated in each and every step of the service and with any additional staff that needed to be done on the car and how much it was going to cost. Everything was to my satisfaction and a big thank you to Uncle Harvey who took my car to be washed after the service was completed. When my work shift started, I was offered a space in their offices where I can work. I had access to Wi-Fi and charging terminal. But what to the cake for me was their Get road-trip ready R500 off voucher which made a huge different to the Total Invoice Amount.

Dec 2024 my car was booked in due to slight oil leak ang engine light on dashboard. To my surprise the car was still showing engine light and oil leaking badly after it was booked in for four months. I paid +/_R40k but the car kept on leaking oil engine light appearing. My surprise was that they said the car was 💯% fixed. I even helped technician (who mentioned that they struggled to open the engine)to mount the battery back and to put the engine cover properly because they did not do it correctly. The day I was told that they completed fixing my car, upon my arrival I was given a watering can to go and buy a petrol because the petrol was finished! I came back with a petrol and ran straight to the bathroom and started vomiting. I took my car but it started leaking oil badly the engine light flashing again on the dashboard and producing a ting ting sound! I notifyed Riaan who told me to return the vehicle back! My vehicle was returned back five times within two weeks after they assured me that it was 100% fixed. During that time tracker indicated thar my car was spoted in different township for days. I asked Riaan who protected Samuel technician because he was using my car for bussines to buy parts. I complained but unfortunatly Riaan protected him. I took my car, I stucked on the road due to too much oil leakage and the engine light kept on appearing and making funny sound. Money paid, emotionally drained, time waisted. The trusted automotive repair services that outsource some services which they advised under their name! No remorse showed by Riaan or the company despite me sending complaints through emails and WhatsApp communication during that 4 months. They do not offer transport, they dont wash my car, they used my car for their business, they enjoyed treating me unfairly, maybe because I am a woman! A BAD PLACE TO TAKE YOUR CAR FOR MAITANANCE BECAUSE YOU WILL BE GOING BACK AND FOURTH AFTER THEY CLAIM THAT THEY HAVE REPAIRED YOUR CAR. How can a client asked to bring a car back after it was claimed 💯 % fixed? They value money not client! Maybe it is how they are treated by their bosses.
