WRONG ORDER
A one star for the treatment I got today. Been buying meat here but I have not encountered any problems before. So we went to buy meat the previous Saturday and one of the products we bought was pork chops. The item was labeled as pork chops outside but turned out to be beef inside. I only realized that upon cooking. Please do take note that I do not know anything about meat, you can literally place different kinds of meat on the table and I would not be able to tell which is which. I called them and explained the situation and was given a number I should text. On the text I indicated that I only realized upon cooking that the meat was not pork and they said that I could return the product and they will exchange. So today my husband went to change the meat and was spoken to in a dismissive manner, being told that they do not take items that are opened, understandably so but whose fault was it in the first place that we did not get what we ordered?and how on earth was I supposed to know what kind of meat am I cooking when I do not know anything about meat?...I really love this butcher but the way they treat their customers??? So we were basically supposed to see it upon ourselves what we do with the meat even though it was not our fault?

DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! This is the worst Meat company in South Africa. I am honestly disappointed that they still are trading because they are going to Kill people with the terrible quality of Meat they are tricking people with. I bought Meat bones only to get told to pay for the meat before seeing it then they load it for you only to find out that you bought Rotten frozen meat cut into cubes. The Meat bones we chose were supposed to be Beef but it had Pork mixed into it! I'm highly disappointed and believe this company ****s the public

DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! This is the worst Meat company in South Africa. I am honestly disappointed that they still are trading because they are going to Kill people with the terrible quality of Meat they are tricking people with. Great price, bad quality
Prices are awesome, meat quality was bad, I got a hamper, meat didn't look off but was off, me and my family got sick, ended up costing way more than the savings we thought we'd made and we're gonna make in future

Poor lamb carcasses quality
It has been 2 moths now buying lamb carcasses from this butchery since January and i must say i am very disappointed with the quality of their lamb meat. It doesn't have fat at all and gets dry when cooked. I don't encourage anyone to buy their lamb meat.

I had a bad experience today at Barriers Meat Traders,,, I tried to talk to the manager but seemed to be not willing to assist,,,, what was advertised on the price list was not corresponding with what l was charged at the till,,,, so I tried to get an explanation he told me that l was given an old price list so the person responsible for that is the person who gave me the price list,,, I feel he could have done something better than that

Complaining about BMT
I went to buy 6 packs of pork ribs at BMT on the 28th October 2021 and I usually buy there and sell to my customers every month, two of my customers ribs where off and I had to exchange them. I went to BMT the following day as one of my customer complained, I spoke to the manager Stefano and he agreed to exchange them, while I was there I told Stefano the manager that some of my customer might complain and if they do should I bring back the ribs for exchange, he said yes despite their 24 hour policy. I went back on the 8th November 2021 because another customer complained. Unfortunately I couldn't exchange because the ribs where not the same kilograms as I bought that's my problem... May you please assist me if you can.

Weekly Increase
Its disappointing that people still buy there even though the prices increase every week its not fair for the consumers. They're prices are not constant last week i buy things on a cheaper rate the next week you go back the prices went up.

Bad quality products bought
am so disappointed as I always buy Beefmaster bones from ur company. The disappointment I got as the quality of the beef master was not pleasing at all on the 3 August , it was packed with off cuts that didn't match the quality tht is always adhered to by ur company the size and mixing of different types of animals bones and a lot tht were so clean not even a dog would eat. I hv lost customers due to the inconsistency of the quality sold by u. I prefer beef Master and has no problem paying the amount I do as it was the best quality. I am so disappointed and angry and had to pay the hard way by lossing clients imagine 15 20KG that was full of nothing inside but false advertising as the outside looked good while inside was nothing as i had 10kg that was something and the other 10 tht had to be thrown as they was nothing not even broth.
