Taking this Vodacom contract was the worst mistake.they never debit on time then will charge you penalty fees. then go report a missed payment with the bureau which is a lie .when you call their contact centre the agents are clueless ,rude and very unprofessional spoke to one who claimed to be a manager named Lili just after I spoke to the agent named Lilitha very clueless sounds unsure .never using Vodacom or recommending to people

I settled my account in march 2026, and noticed that the payment still reflects on my Credit Bereau record and it's affecting my credit scoring. I called Vodacom call centre, accounts department adn 2 clerks confirmed the account is paid in full. Why is it that they take their time to clear a name but quick to list you for no or short payment. I have been a loyal client after 20 years of investing into multiple contracts but now I a no longer interested in accounts, this is the service I get.

I have been a Vodacom client for more than 20years! Less than a year ago, I purchased a device on contract at Vodacom Centurion Mall! SUCH A DEEP REGRET!!! I bought a Samsung S25 ultra. About 3 months later, the device started giving me problems, I reported it and the repairs consultant informed me to go back and backup my information and then bring it in for repairs. They took it for approximately a month without offering me a loan phone. I had to buy myself another device to use in the meantime. After I received the phone back from repairs, about 2 months later it had similar problems. It overheats, doesn’t charge properly, camera has electrical shocks, battery problems, etc. They took it in again for repairs, no loan phone offered again! I have been struggling with this phone since the beginning, it is frustrating!!! I asked the store manager, TYRONE, to assist me to get a new device. He blatantly said he unfortunately cannot help me, I should contact Vodacom head office directly, he is just a franchise. I asked him to connect me with his manager or shop owner, he refused and said he is not allowed to do so. The customer service in that shop sucks! I am stuck with a 3 year contract that I’m still paying and no fully functioning device. I feel ****med! I called the Vodacom customer care which he said I must. They told me that Vodacom Centurion mall must replace my device and not them, as I didn’t purchase online but in the store instead. I want this sorted. My work and income depends on this device and the Terrible experience has been a nightmare. Is there someone that can assist me!?!

It is since the start of December that we are struggling with Vodacom, I speak for the community as I know I am not the only one. It is crucial for me though. Some of us work, and need a good connection. Please sort this out!

Vodacom constantly every 2 months adds on subscriptions that come of my airtime. They send an SMS to you stating that and if you do not see it it's R10 per day for absolutely no services that you use.
