Been recommending them for 7 years. Still, the only company with few complaints and comebacks. They go back should something is faulty. Or questions arise from the new owners. The Owner of 29 Plantation Road has personally emailed me to thank for the recommendation. Good job guys Regards Lerique matthee| Exp realty

Would not recommend them at all, they send inspectors who do not inspect properly for compliance. They include items physically missed by the inspector, as well as items NOT actually required for compliance in a quotation for repairs, prior to issuing the compliance certificates. They of course offer to do these repairs for you, and even offer a "discount" for the work which is not required for the COC's to be issued. When you point out that they are including work not required for compliance sign-off, and even quote the laws in black and white, they ignore you and continue to send invoices for the inspections. If you don't pay for these inspections, they hand you over to their debt collection agency. A case has been filed with the relevant authorities and industry bodies.

Techno Group has substantially been increasing estimated prices for unnecessary work to gain a pecuniary advantage as many other customers have also experienced and reviewed Techno Group on Hellopeter, which confirms that Techno Group are not to be recommended. They sent a team of 6 that went through the property escalating and fabricating work with the view to create work for themselves. Techno Group are looking to massively create unnecessary work with a view to charge in many instances unsuspecting customers substantial amounts by stating that the installations for Electrical, Gas and water have been installed totally incorrectly and therefore in order to get the COC they need to do the followings works in order to comply. In our particular case they were referred to us by our Estate Agents and we then requested a visit, following there visit we we received and invoice for R1 200.00 and 3 reports for water, gas and electrical work. I refuse to pay that invoice because there reports are totally incorrect ito work that needed to be done. They wanted to do work on newly installed Solar geysers!!! They wanted to install a pressure zone (RPZ) valve for 6069,99 that was not needed and the list goes on and on . . . total amount of work to be done was R30 335.82 (on a fairly newly build modest 3 bedroom home built by Garden Cities)?????

Absolutely useless - they are just an agency for assorted independent trades and assign someone on their database (you hope) to come and give you a quote AND they demand upfront for an inspection fee - for which I did not and will not pay. First it was sorry but the lady who dealt with it was not in the office but my message would be passed on. A week later.. it was sorry we are a bit behind because of Easter. I'm still waiting. Don't be fooled by their paid ads appearing first on Google ! Contact your local and long established contractors for your C.O.C's

Company is ridiculous with their assessments for electrical certificate of compliance. Furthermore they quote way above the going rate to repair the 'faults' they found. I recommend you try other service providers

Don't be deceived by estate agents' recommendations to use them. They quoted R31,046 for water, electricity, and gas compliance, but I got it done elsewhere for only R4,422! They incorrectly claimed my geyser needed replacing, which my insurance company disputed. They quoted R3,901 to replace a short plastic gas hose with copper and install 4 vent grommets. When I challenged their R1,700 inspection fees, they brushed off my complaint, saying “we provided a service”. It would seem the business model is taking inspection fees and then a) dissuading small jobs by giving inflated quotes or b) making massive profits from the uniformed customers that accept their obscenely high quotes. Don't waste your time and money like I did. Check online reviews before dealing with them!

Techno Group Compliance Company Greystone Trading Durbanville This guys are ok so far but they rip you off money wise, we had an inspector today (water and sanitation Cape Town) to check what they have done, so far so good but definitely overpriced and installed a valve which would not have been necessary. This Company is defiantly taking advantage of homeowners which are rely on a compliance certificate and take real money out of your heard earned salary. It is a rip off!!!
