Avoid smartgadget139 like the plague
I found a laptop on Gumtree and email them. Was told the item is available. I drove from plumstead to brackenfell to purchase the item. The service was below standard as my questions aroung graphics and processor speed were not convincingly answered. On my way home Gary phoned me to tell me that the unit I paid for was sold and that I must return it. It turns out that his salesman charged me for the 1tb unit and supplied me with the lower spec unit. (Didn't know his stock) I decided to return the unit and not buy the other unit. I then asked Gary about reimbursing me for my time and fuel I used and he refused. Even denying it was their mistake. Avoid this ****hole and buy from a reputable shop. I always choose to support small companies but this arrogant ah changed my mind. I then drove to Strand and bought a better unit, with assistance from knowledgeable staff that not only know their product but customer service as well. Worst place to buy a laptop
I spoke to Gary - said I’ll get the laptop on Friday. Chatted to him today (Thursday) said I’ll come today at 12. He said no come at 1pm. I get there at 1pm and he said he sold it an hour ago. What horrible service!!

Worst place to buy a laptop

SMARTGADGETS ARE CORRUPT USELESS ****S
I have been dealing with Smartgadgets for over a week now. I bought a phone which was said to be brand new. It arrived, box open phone scratched, dirty charger, the works. This is after full payment is made. I log a complaint about it, to which they suddenly do not respond as quickly as they did before getting my money. When they finally did, they said, "ohh sorry we read your order wrong, we thought you bought the second hand" They then decided they want to rectify this by giving me a new phone since the one ordered isn't even in blady stock. Why they have it on their site still is a ****ing mystery. They said they will deliver the new phone on the 2nd Jan 2020. The day went and not a peep from then until I contacted them and guess the **** what, another apology. "Sorry we had our dates mixed up, we are open only from the 3rd." We agreed they would deliver at my house in the morning, I was asked to send my address and not a word from them still. Professionalism is lacking in a major way, keeping my money is definitely corruption because I don't want this piece of **** phone they brought. They can actually **** right off. I WANT MY MONEY!
