I found the unsolicited calls from this real estate agency to be highly intrusive and unprofessional. At no stage did I request to be contacted or express any interest in selling or renting my property, yet I was approached repeatedly without my consent. While marketing is an accepted part of the real estate industry, it does not justify disregarding individuals' privacy or contacting them without permission. Professional agencies should operate with integrity, obtain consent before initiating promotional communications, and immediately remove individuals from their contact lists when requested. This experience demonstrated a concerning lack of respect for personal boundaries and raised serious questions about the agency's business practices and commitment to professional standards.

Rawson properties - I am naming and shaming Rawson properties for SPAM calls. On 20 April at 12:03 I declined a call and was immediately called again from 0213444806 - I answered and told the agent I did not want SPAM calls. He told me it was not a SPAM call and the consumer acts allows companies to call anybody. I told him I never gave permission to anyone to phone me and he continued insisting it was not SPAM. I am going to name & shame every company that insists on paying somebody to make SPAM calls.

I had the worst experience with Gadija Israel from Rawson Properties in Newlands/Rondebosch. We booked a viewing for 5pm for a Tuesday and that was a day that I have to take my boy to soccer practice at exactly the same time. I asked her if I can’t make it by 5:30 explaining my reasons for the request. She said no, it’s either I’m there or not. So I decided to arrange transportation to fetch my kid from school to soccer practice. I was on my way to view the property by 15:30 so I can beat traffic as I’m living far. An hour before I got there she called to cancel. That’s fine I decided to go watch my boy at practice She calls me next day saying I should come at 5pm again. I confirmed I will be there. I fetched kids at school and drove straight there got there by 5:04pm and I decided to call her at 5:05pm to check where is she as I see no one at the property. She shouts at me and say she has been waiting for me since 4:45pm and decided to leave at 5:05 pm and there is no way she is turning back for me why didn’t I tell her I’m on my way and that she is in traffic I wasted her time and so on. Mind you I’m in the car with my kids who are shocked by this women shouting at me and disappointed at the same time as they were looking forward to view the house. And I’m just holding the phone unable to respond because of shock. I just said okay and dropped the phone. After a while I gathered strength to tell her how rude and disrespectful she was and all the things I had to go through in order to be here She blankly told me she will see when the next viewing will be. No apologies whatsoever. I told her to remove me from her list Gadija Israel you call yourself a lady but you disrespect people like that. The diesel I wasted for 2 days driving there you should refund me. You don’t deserve to be working with people you are rude and unprofessional

RAWSON PROPERTIES-SEVERE LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY,,MISREPRESENTATION,DEFECTIVE PROPERTY AND FAILURE OF EXECUTIVE ESCALATION,I am extremely disappointed with my experience dealing with Rawson Properties and feel compelled to warn other buyers about the handling of this transaction. During the sale process, I was not properly informed about material defects in the property, which only became apparent after occupation. These defects have resulted in ongoing financial loss, repair costs, and significant emotional stress. There are also serious concerns regarding the compliance and professionalism of the agent(s) involved, including questions around whether proper certification and legal requirements were met during the transaction. This raises serious concerns about the level of due diligence app**** by Rawson Properties in facilitating this sale. What is even more concerning is the way Rawson Properties has responded once these issues were raised. Instead of taking ownership or actively assisting in resolving the matter, there has been a clear attempt to distance the agency from responsibility and shift accountability away from Rawson. I escalated this matter beyond branch level and directly to senior management, including the CEO, who indicated involvement or willingness to assist. However, despite this, there has been no meaningful intervention, no resolution, and no accountability from executive level. The matter has effectively been left unresolved despite being escalated to the highest level of the organisation. Despite repeated attempts to engage in good faith, communication has been poor, inconsistent, and ultimately ineffective. The lack of action from both the branch and senior leadership has been extremely disappointing. At this stage, I am left with a defective property, unresolved issues, and no proper resolution from the agency that facilitated the sale. I am now pursuing formal legal advice and further escalation through the appropriate regulatory channels. Future buyers are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and independently verify all property conditions, disclosures, and agent credentials before entering into any transaction with this agency.

Never deal with Rawson, they are *******! Especially the north riding/randburg department with Riana de velliers, they went out there way to keep my deposit and not pay me. Going as far as bending the law and upgrading the house cosmetically using my deposit when in fact there was no damage. Disgusting
