Boncap has forced their members to use Marara pharmacy and before that Medicines Direct. The efficiency of both is disastrous. I have complained over and over again here about Marara: whenever I go beit pharmacies, my GP , a specialist, even the couriers, are commenting on unwanted medications being sent back etc. They are not easy to reach by phone, and in spite of emails to both Marara and Boncap, mistakes happen. I don't understand why Boncap formed a partnership with Marara but now I see Momentum Health is taking over the admin from June. I wonder........ after reading Momentum's intention of employing new staff and pumping in a few million, if we could hope for better service? I really hope so.
I can only laugh (or cry) at the inefficiency of your business. See my previous reviews and the parcel is STILL sitting here. Everywhere I go, from my GP, to the specialist, not one has a good word to say about Marara - quoting all the complaints they're getting, and to think that Bonitas/Boncap, forces their clients to use Marara!!! You are a disgrace Marara
What a strange thing it was when I wrote a negative review more than a week ago about Marara's bad service, got a reply someone would contact me, and indeed someone did..... apologising, promising to send a courier to pick up the unwanted medication etc......and still the little box is still lying here after a week, waiting to be collected and no further word.
Difficult to get hold of telephonically, Whatsapp Bot doesn't seem to work, and no action on email, just reference number 1604010. Problem? medication delivered not ordered, invoiced for it, and no action to collect it and take it off account. I expect an sms soon to threaten with legal action if not paid. Really very unsatisfactory.
I just wanted to find out why Mica Hardware does nothing to stop ****mers who through the past few years, keep on putting posts on Facebook that you can win cars through them. Unsuspecting FB users give information which is then apparently used by these ****mers for unknown but undoubtedly, sinister means. Surely there is a way to trace and stop them?
The best little fish shop in PE, and the most hidden. Find Fresh Fish on Circular, in business for 19 months, and run by the ultra friendly Monica and Nick. I bought fresh fish there since the started, and have never been disappointed. At the back, hidden away is a lovely small restaurant, with a very European, romantic look, where you can have a fabulous meal with your friends, all very well priced. In front they also sell fish of the day, straight from the harbour frozen seafood, and all sorts of sauces and deli. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
After a first report here, I have had no response from Marara pharmacy. I sent back an order I didn't ask for, and have the proof that the courier picked it up. Someone there saw fit to cancel my prescription, and when I called to order, they told me I no longer had a prescription. After some todo I received my order, only to be charged double for the parcel I sent back. To add insult to injury I started to receive smss to pay the amount, and on Friday a message to say if I didn't pay up within 10 days they will take legal action. I paid the amount and reported it to Bonitas (Boncap), who apparently contacted them to sort it out, but up to now no communication. I demand a letter of apology stating that they owe me R142.69. They are the worst company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. Script MPC4277719 File 786ED0
It seems as if when you ;receive a notification from your medical that they have received an invoice from a doctor's practice on your behalf, and are processing it, that is final. I rep**** I have never heard of this doctor, and cannot even find him on Google, but according to them, I have to contact the practice and ask them to reverse the claim. Heaven knows where I'm to find the practice..... and whatever was charged I guess is off my account.
Worst service ever, and unavoidable if you belong to Bonitas. Never answers e-mails, to phone is just about impossible. Sent back medication I did not order, only for them to cancel my prescription. Apparently they don't read their e-mails (according to the lady I spoke to), neither the history on your profile, where I clearly stated I will phone them if I need anything. At last I ordered again, only to be baffled by the total of what I'm supposed to owe them (R285.69) for a chronic prescription, while it clearly shows my co-payment is only R142,69. Now I'm hounded by messages that I must pay up the R285.38, and just now a message stating that if I don't pay within a week, legal action will be taken against me. I wrote an e-mail on the 19th to both Boncap and Marara with scans of the account, asking for clarification. As usual so far I have only received a reference number. Usually after that if you're lucky, and IF they read it, you might get reply a few months later. All your airtime goes into phoning them. It's really a ridiculous situation. I have now paid, but expect a credit, a reply and an apology.
The most expensive phone call I ever made: I wanted to phone a local number on my cell phone and got a message I had no airtime left. Found it funny as I usually don't make that many calls, but nevertheless bought R55 airtime through my bank, and made he call lasting 2.55minutes. What was my surprise when this morning I got a similar message - no airtime. Is it POSSIBLE to pay R55 for a 2.55 minute phone call? Can Vodacom please explain. I feel exploited!
