We bought a property which registered into our name in November. An Electrical Compliance Certificate was issued by Deon de Villiers from Ed Electro Consult. We picked up several electrical issues since occupation which we immediately brought under the attention of the estate agent who in turn referred this to the transferring attorney. At this stage we can't actually rate the service by Deon de Villiers from Ed Electro Consult as we have not received any service at all despite several attempts by myself, the attorney attending to the transfer of the property and real estate agent, whom we bought the house from to get Deon de Villiers to return to our house to fix the electrical problems picked up by another electrical contractor which we paid to investigate some issues we picked up at our home which are not compliant for a COC to have been issued by Ed Electro Consult. Deon de Villiers simply ignores all attempts to get a hold of him by means of phone calls, e-mails and WhatsApp's and would definitely strongly advise anyone considering making use of their services to think twice. We have been trying tirelessly since December 2025 to get Deon to return to take responsibility for the electrical issues that needs to be resolved, but have not been successful thus far. STAY AWAY!
I would like to warn other potential customers to be careful when making use of the services of Fridge Repairs Cape Town. I logged a call for them to be at my premises at 09:00 to repair my fridge. The date and time was confirmed by means of whatsapp by someone from the company. I had to message several times to ask them where they are as no one informed me that they are running late. At +- 09:35 someone replied saying they will be there before 10:00. Not a good first impression. Patrick arrived just after 10:00. After the fridge were repaired I received an invoice with none of my particulars on the invoice. The invoice was made out to someone else with their address and details and after inquiring about it from them to send me an invoice with my correct details on there as well as proof of my 8 month guarantee which I was promised by Patrick that was on site to do the repairs, I am still waiting for my guarantee although I already paid for the service. I called the company to ask them for proof of my guarantee and to date have not received anything despite several follow-ups from my side. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!
Unprofessional, unreliable and poor quality service. Will not recommend to anyone. Do not waste your time and valuable money. We have done so, so don't you make the same mistake.
On 03/08/2018 I lodged a complaint re a purchase of a jumbo pack of Huggies Dry Comfort diapers since in a pack of 66 diapers a total of 11 diapers had to be thrown away because the fasteners on the diapers keeps on coming off. I sent Huggies photo's of the problem and to date only received an automatic reply saying: Thanks for your e-mail to Kimberly-Clark. We have received your message, and your contact number is ********** 76A. A personalised reply will be sent to you as quickly as possible. Several days has passed now already and no one has contacted me yet. Still waiting...
<p>We bought 12 Mini chocolate cupcakes at Pick&Pay Express in<br />Kraaifontein with still 2 days left before the expiry date. We<br />took this to friends to enjoy with a cup of coffee, but was so old<br />even the astro's on top of the cupcakes were soft and not crunchy. I sent a request to ADT on Monday, 09/11/2015 complaining about them making black marks on our walls when jumping over when our alarm is triggered as well as requesting technical assistance. To date, (a week later) no feedback was received. I beg to ask why we are paying monthly fees if these guys can't even have the decency to reply to an email of one of their clients?
