I took a rental from REMAX, I noticed there was moulds under the kitchen sink. Reported the matter and was told it will be fixed. And also they used a garage as a dumping site and never cleared it. Everyday when I ask when will it be cleared they will promise 16h00 of the same day. My child started reacting to the moulds and I had to leave earlier to protect his health. This agency went and took 50 % of my deposit. Mind you i left their apartment cleaner than I found it. Nothing was broken during our occupation
About a year ago, An agent contacted my dad (a pensioner) for car insurance, which he took as he considered it a better deal since there was 0 excess. Months went by thankfully with no accidents. The problem came by when he got into a minor accident and initiated a claim, all of a sudden he need to pay an amount close to R10000. My dad was furious as he expect a smooth claim process. What made him more angry was when he wanted to cancel, they refused to refund, stating he needed to give them 31 days' notice. Be warned; Budget insurance ****med my dad. Pay back the money Budget..
on Saturday 01 December 2018 Cell C was experiencing network problems, I had 150 rand airtime before this network issue... when the network issue was resolved I was left with less than R1. immediately after seing this I called customer service and they said i lost my airtime through internet search, which I asked how so since the network was down, she then changed the statement and said it was my apps.. this all makes no sense since the network was down and I also had +/- 200MB in my account..
My parents bought a DSTV long time ago when i was a teenager, when the installer came to our home my parents where not at home and the only person with an ID at a time was myself. the installer then used my ID number to register their connection. In 2017 my parents went to Multichoice to pay for the connection for April/ May month, the customer service at the store influence them to switch to Explora which they did and cancelled the account under my name. after 12 month or so of experiencing the Explora, without any sort of communication from Multichoice (i.e. calls or sms), i received a call from a company called Blake and Associates saying they are represanting Multichoice , I need to pay a certain amount. me and the caller agreed on her to take the matter to Multichoice but it seems the matter was not taken back to the owner as I again after +/- 6 month received the call from same company representing same matter but with different caller, i asked the caller (Mr. Owen Naidoo) to refer to the last call, which he said he can't as he don't have such access or cant see it. we then went through the same process from the first call. after the call i asked Mr. Naidoo for call refence number he refused to give me saying there is no such. My issue is that Multichoice is targeting our parents as they don't understand a lot of specifics, the Multichoice personnel made my parents buy explora knowing for sure they came to pay for the other service. how is it that the same person did not cancel the other service as he told them he cancelled it.

The CSI Rentals just decide to switch off my apartments electricity. Last week Wednesday (14/10/2015) they switched off my apartments electricity, when i come back from work around 18:00 and tried to contact the agent his phone was off and early on thursday he request a proof of payment which I already sent then they switched it back on.<br> this week again today Monday (19/10/2015) they switched it off when try to call they just can't pick up their phones and the ones that do pick up they actually switch their phones off after the phone conversation, or put their phones next to sound system for us to listen...<br> <br> the situation is just a disapointment just to think of the amount of rent we are actually paying. we don't even get a statement of our rent coming to think of it. no communication of any sort, we however do followup after we make payments if they have recieved the payment. they will agree they did recieve the payment but after a week or two matters will arise, and how do they do that? they go straight and switch off the electricity during the day and when we come back our food in the fridge are rotten. this is worst than staying in a shack or adjusting to scheduled loadshedi
