Active since Oct 2014
If I could rate them a zero I would. I app**** for a contract with vox which was approved. I was still with Telkom at the time and was assured that the account will only be activated once the line is released by Telkom. The day the modem from vox was delivered, I received a statement charging me for the usage and claiming my account was now active. They were charging me for a full month subscription and not even a pro rata. I engaged Telkom and they gave me proof that my line was still with Telkom an not Vox. Based on this I decided to cancel my contract with Vox but they are still sending me invoices that I owe them. Their customer services and accounts department are pathetic to say the least . I since logged numerous calls for them to fix this billing mess but all I get is reference numbers that don’t lead to anything positive. They have since promised to come fetch their sealed modem and rectify the billing mess but I am still waiting from October. Stay away from Vox people.

1. The shower was dirty when we arrived, we even had to call one of the cleaners to come assist us. 2. The tv decoder was not connected, the kids could not watch tv. 3. The Wi-Fi was out of bundles when we called we were told “The Telkom shops are closed, sorry we will sort you out tomorrow. 4. 2 days into our stay, Nozuko called and told us we have to move to another building next to Ushaka Marine as she has already given our apartment to someone else. We refused of course. You can imagine the panic of not knowing whether your luggage will still be intact or even there when you go back to the apartment. We had to cut our activities short just to go make sure we were not being *******ly evicted from our fully paid apartment. 5. To rub salt to a wound, she constantly kept calling to try and convince us to move because she said” My hands are tied when coming to the apartment you are in, I have already accepted another booking”.
I bought a mecer laptop on the 31st of Jan 2022. Not even a month later, it would not switch on without it being on a charger. When I went back to the shop at mall @ redds I was met with an attitude by the manager on duty named Lester. Her conduct was so unprofessional and rude.
So I took my car in for a service and when it was time for me to be dropped off at home I was told they won’t be able to because I stay far from the dealership. I stay 13km from the dealership which is still around the vicinity of centurion. I was told they only do drop offs up to the gautrain station. After I made noise and complained about the fact that they were not upfront about their new policy, finally they decided to drop me off. I am done with the brand after the inhumane treatment,
Please stay away from that place, the after sales service is non existent, in fact you will be met by threats of being shot at by the manager Afzal Asmal when you complain about poor products. Boston Jap-Tech and Afzal Asmal are crooks
If i could rate it a zero I would. The Manager there by the name of Afzal Asmal is very rude. I bought an engine from them only to realise later that the gearbox was faulty. When I called them to complain, Afzal Asmal refused to assist me and was rude to me on the phone. He even threatened to shoot me and told me he has connections in higher places. STAY AWAY FROM THAT PLACE
On the 7th of July 2019, I went into the store with my 2 kids. Amongst the other things I bought was a tin of Nespray milk. I have never felt so degraded and belittled in my life when one of your security officials followed me from isle to isle like a lion following its prey. Literally every isle I went into she was behind me. I reported the matter to a gentleman called Patrick so -called manager ,who downplayed the whole thing by telling me that is how the guards are briefed because there is a rise in baby formula and other powder milk theft. It is my view that spar mall@55 racially profiles its customers and black customers are treated like criminals. I am not a criminal and refuse to be subjected to such inhumane treatment by a bunch of neo-liberal capitalists who don't give a damn about customer service. Never again will I set foot in your store again and I will make sure I mobilize other comrades to boycott that shop. Tumi Mputle
Whenever there are technical problems with the line and one decides to use alternative transport as a result of waiting for more than 1 hour for the train, they still charge a parking penalty fee of R100. The service is sub standard.
Recently i have experienced bad service from investec. Firstly i was unofficially told that i now have a new banker when i called in to enquire about something. Then the new banker assigned to me is never available only to be told she has been transferred to another department even before she was assigned to me. My account is now in limbo.
