I am writing this with horror and disappointment in your radio station. These are the facts that were given (very accurately) by the mother of Aimee. Aimee did the Clash of the School's quiz on the 16 March and won R947. I was told to WhatsApp my email address and ID number and that someone would get in touch with me. I was also told on the day that the money would take around a month to come through. A month passed and I had heard nothing. I then sent a WhatsApp, an email, a Facebook message, a SMS and I tried phoning on several occasions, but there was no reply. Eventually I managed to get through and the person took down all my and Aimee's details and said that someone would send me an email shortly. Nothing... I phoned the person again, gave her all the details again and was promised that an email would be sent to me. Nothing... My Facebook message was answered and they asked me for all the details again. Nothing. Paul then Tweeted 947, but nothing... Paul then sent an email to which someone rep****. That person then phoned me, apologized, and took down my details saying that an email would be sent. Nothing. I then sent him an email asking what was going on and I told him that no email had been received. That day an email was sent!!! It congratulated Aimee and asked for an ID copy and proof of bank account. Following that... Nothing.... Paul then contacted them and they said that the ID name didn't match the account name (we had sent a copy of my ID as Aimee is a minor and they had been using my ID as consent the whole time). A copy of her birth certificate was sent... Following this there has been nothing. No reply saying that they have everything and all is okay-nothing. We have submitted our details on countless occasions, and have had to follow up every time. I think that we've been more than patient! I hope that this helps. Aimee is 11 years old, she has now lost hope in receiving the money. She still loves doing quizzes though... Eric Delmont 072 629 8539
I ordered and paid for cartridges on Wednesday 19th February before 11 AM and delivery was promised the next day. This is their policy. Thursday and Friday came and went and I stayed in my tiny bedsitter in an old age home. I emailed a few times and nobody bothered to respond. I had urgent printing to do so ended up spending R200.00+ at the local print shop. I am critically short of money. i have not heard a word from anybody. There has been no apology. I am disgusted. I had complained to Standard Bank about being charged when my card was 'eaten' by an ATM. I had no joy until Sandile got hold of me and solved my problem there an then. Sandile you are a great asset to Standard Bank
It is quite extraordinary that the call centre or Hello Peter mean nothing to Planet Fitness. I wrote an email to the manager of 4 Ways and he didn't even bother to reply. I have one good feeling and that is,so far, I have stopped 9 people from becomiong members. I think the rumours are true
I have written twice about my loss of card and subsequent charge by Standard Bank. The consultant tried to phone me but on returning his call there was no reply (tried about a dozen times). On the 7th August at the Standard Bank ATM the machine took my card. There was no reason for this at all. I went to the Standard Bank in Northgate to replace the card. I got a new card and was charged although this was not my fault at all. The consultant actually laughed when I said I was going to get the money back and said 'The bank never refund these things'. I think this absolutely disgusting and as for that totally incompetent consultant. I wonder if anybody will bother to reply to this. Eric Delmont I/D number 470****078084
On about the 7th August I went to a SB ATM to draw money. The machine seemed to be working fine and I inserted the card (blue debit card). The screen went black and then a sign came up saying machine out of order. I stopped the card immediately and went to another nearby SB to replace the card. All was fine and then I saw on my statement that I had been debited R135 for the replacement card. o personally think this is disgusting and went to speak to a consultant (I think it was Northgate). the consultant actually laughed and said that there was virtually zero chance of getting the money credited. i thought the Standard Bank was credible - how wrong one can be. It is a complete waste of time writing to these rubbish people. You never get the truth and they don't bother to reply. I am thrilled to say that I have managed to get over 30 people to resign from this franchise. I personally think it's going broke
I joined Planet Fitness a year ago (2 year contract). I explained to the pleasant rep. (Quincy) that due to a chronic back condition I would only be able to do water aerobics. For, at least 3 of the 12 months the pool was unusable because the temperature was far too low. we were constantly told that all would be well "Next week". I resigned a few days ago and instead of being refunded at least 3 months fees I was told I had to pay in over R1000. I was talking to a pleasant rep called Arthur who had no authority. There were multiple promises and nothing was done. Eric
My account has been debited with R500,00. I do not owe a single soul anything so expect this to be credited immediately. My email address is **********
Great stuff Rafieka. You are truly a remarkable asset to your company. Eric Delmont
