<div>This company is brilliant for a number of reasons, they have produced a wrap for my vehicle and I am seriously impressed with the job done, fast and efficient with friendly service at very reasonable prices. I would like to mention the graphic designer Andre who produced the sticker and despite load shedding and a busy schedule delivered on time</div>
Do not rent or buy anything through this company they will take your money and fail to maintain the property and add on hidden charges in conflict with the initial agreement BEWARE especially of the agents at the Pretoria North Branch
I am very disappointed the technician who installed my tracking device left with my keys for my car, after several attempts to get the keys back I have had no response from this company, the technician is called Vincent
A driver named David took cash from my wife for a trip from work to home and then somehow obtained her banking details and debited her a further two amounts of the same value, this is theft and Uber must rectify this or I will sue and have him locked up
They are situated in Gauteng Johannesburg, the CEO is the most compassionate individual in the industry
Please don't do business with this company you will regret it I and my wife have been **** to given false hope and when you try sorting it out they dismiss your problem as just your problem
This company overcharged me for a borehole, they refuse to give a certificate about how much water is available and when you call them for things not fixed properly they want more and more money, be careful of this company, when you try calling them to rectify their mistakes they put down the phone on a paying company, they are based in Brooklyn in Pretoria
I have been on the phone all morning to try to cancel a simcard from cell c for a simcard which was ****** from me by an employee, I was passed around from pillar to post with nothing actually being done to adress my complaint, with Jorge Mendes as CEO I was hopeful of change at cell c mendes joined the company in July this year and perhaps he is still getting his house in order but then don't open a business until your staff are adequately trained and are able to be accountable for how they speak and deal with customers, I haven't even been with them for a month and already I long for Vodacom instead, even Telkom does a better job than cell c
Good morning I wish to register a complaint against a company situated in Cape Town for ********* business practices and *****. The company in question is Debt Help situated in Cape Town . I was called by a person who created the impression that she is from the national credit regulator and I quote "I am working under the umbrella of the national credit regulator" this creates a false impression that I was talking to a representative from the national credit regulator and that this call was got something to do with adverti*****ts on social media which makes statements such as " did you know that the South African government has decided to reduce up to 40% of debt" I have spoken to many people who have gone under debt review with catastrophic consequences and I am dead set against going under debt review. The telephone calls of this company is said to be recorded, what may have been a better and less deceptive manner of making the call to South Africans would in my opinion be to say something such as " good morning I am so and so from a company in Cape Town which assists consumer's who are interested in debt review, counseling and or rehabilitation and we work in accordance with the national credit regulator" later on in the calls once I realized that this was infact not a representative of the NCR but an agent of a private company, I explicitly stated that I am in no way, shape or form interested in being placed under debt review. Without signing any documentation or agreeing to be placed under debt review, this agent then placed me under debt review. I then commenced with the arduous task of getting myself off Debt review, and made numerous calls and emails to the CEO of Debt Help; Liam Owies .He went and listened to the recordings and came to the conclusion that I was placed under debt review even though I had explicitly stated I am not interested in the process and prefer to continue as I have been doing to service my debts to the best of my ability as I have been doing. It took approximately 10 days for Debt Help and another company "Consumer friend" situated in Durban, to issue a 17.2b document and a screenshot before I could be removed as being under debt review. Consequently my creditors such as RCS (retail credit solutions) and (sanlam) were unable to accept any funds from me because my accounts were registered as a matter of being under Debt review and I was consequently " handed over" . I am a recently divorced single income earner and in the process of recovering from the financial fallout of the divorce, my budget is very tight but I am succeeding in reducing the level of indebtedness on my own without debt counseling or any other intervention. I normally utilize my RCS account for purchasing petrol and food, but since I was placed under debt review without my consent I could not pay in any amount and my creditors refused to even allow me to make any transaction on these accounts due to the hold placed on my account. In liue of the fact that I was not permitted to transact on these accounts, specifically the RCS account, I had no option but to use the cash I normally use to pay RCS with for the purchasing of food and petrol to get to work and home respectively. When after many calls to have the 17.2b document and the screenshot issued and the block was now lifted but I had already utilized the funds on petrol and food, my creditors now demanded two months installments which with respect to RCS and direct axis would amount to a whopping R8000.00 for something which was not done according to my will or actions but are as direct result of the block placed erroneously by Debt Help. I contacted the NCR for assistance and was instructed to contact the CEO (Liam Owies) and urge him to resolve the chaos his company caused in my personal life. Instead I was passed off to one of his staff members who to date has failed to rectify the matter with my creditors. I have sought legal advice on this matter and it is quite apparent that the ploy used to snare me into something I was not interested in was misleading, ambiguous and *****ulent. The process of Debt review is meant to be something which assists consumers, not one which creates the perfect storm for the consumer to be disadvantaged in any way. Instead the semantics used in these phonecalls is deliberately constructed to cause a false impression with the consumer. The fact that according to Owies staff member who called me, the lady who did this has been dismissed and that the 17.2b and screenshot were issued, if it was a question of the company as directed by it's CEO acknowledged wrongdoing on their part. The resolution sought is that I be returned to the financial position I was in at the time when Debt Help initiated it's *****ulent process. In common law ***** the following definition of ***** exists ( Snyman and Hiemstra) as " the ******** and intentional making of a misrepresentation which is calculated to cause actual or potential prejudice to another person (whether juristic or a natural person), clearly this is what has happened here and my legal representative agrees with this interpretation and believes there are sufficient grounds for successful prosecution (********) as well as litigation (civil) for the damage and inconvenience caused by the *****ulent actions of the defendent "Debt Help". Debt Help in it's capacity as the party who directly caused the ensuing prejudice to me should in all conscience contact the creditors such as sanlam and RCS to not demand double payment from me due to the fact that there is a causal link between their *****ulent actions and the resulting prejudiced position in which I find myself. They and specifically the CEO should accept responsibility for the offense committed and rectify it to such a point by negotiating a more equitable outcome for me, that is assuming that they truly care about the consumer at all. This is the kind of ********* and unprofessional conduct that the creation of the NCR was intended to achieve. I humbly request an investigation to take place and remedy the matter so that I am placed in the same position as I was financially before the ******** conduct of Debt Help. I do not want to have the debt restructured as this would mean that I will have to furnish these debts without being able to have access to the credit because of the actions of this company. I will be registering a ******** case with the commercial crimes unit at the DPCI ( the Hawks) and with civil litigation but only after the NCR has rendered it's findings after such an investigation. It has for me become a matter of achieving justice for all consumers who have been prejudiced in similar fashion. I am in contact with the media and have already spoken with a journalist from the mail and guardian who will not publish anything regarding this as the matter is sub-judice and may be construed as contempt of court , but upon completion of the matter. Please can you investigate the matter and assist me and millions of citizens who have been affected in similar ways. Instead of being made to pay double payments to my creditors, I wish to return to the previous financial position which I was in prior to this incident. Please could you also put in place measures to avoid companies from doing business in this way. Much thanks for the opportunity to engage with you on this matter and feel free to contact me directly for clarity on anyone of the points I have raised with you.
This company has agents which purport to work for the ncr and even if you say you are not interested they place you on debt review without your consent , to add insult to injury they won't take your calls I advise you not to use this company, they will also not declare that you have to give up your overdraft and can't use your accounts
