Debt Help
Based on recent customer reviews, Debt Help is generating significant concern among consumers, with a recurring theme of customers alleging they were placed under debt review without informed consent after being told agents were merely negotiating lower interest rates on their behalf. Many describe agents misrepresenting affiliation with the NCR or their bank, unreachable phone lines after sign-up, and cancellation fees demanded to clear their names. A smaller group of customers consistently mention positive interactions with specific consultants who provided clear guidance, efficient service, and helpful follow-up communication.

Debt Help is based in Cape Town dealing with placing customers under debth review. They called me pretending to be working with ABSA which I have car Finance loan with; pretending to have been send by ABSA to reduce my Monthly instruments only for my account to be placed under debt review. Without any ID Copy; Bank Statement or Payslip. I lodged a complaint with The National Credit Regulator and I have been removed under Credit Review. They don't have ethics and trick people only for them to be placed under debt review. People should be careful and always verify with your bank before giving out information to *****ed companies.

Greetings On 10th March 2026, I received a call from this number 012 753 7038. The company called Debt Help, Their agent is female and stated that they were calling from NCR, which I know is a government agency. I was told that they can see my profile and how I'm handling my account, which is very impressive. I was then told that I'm paying a high interest rate and that they can help reduce it. Without cost, on the call, I asked the agent if this is not a debt review program, and she rep**** by saying no we are only trying to help you with high interest rates. I was avoiding it because I've been there and I know how frustrating it is to be under debt review. Now, to my surprise, I've discovered that they placed me under debt review after I clearly stated that I don't want anything to do with debt review, and now they want me to pay them to remove my name from debt review for the amount of R4000,
