HERE I AM AGAIN. YOUR SECURE CHAT CONSULTANTS ARE INCOMPETANT AND I AM STILL AWAITING A CALL FROM THE PREVIOUS COMPLAINT. SO I REQUESTED FOR MY ACCOUNT TO BE DOWNGRADED - GIVING FNB YET ANOTHER CHANGE EVEN THOUGH I KNEW IT WAS GOING TO BE AN ISSUE NOW YOU DOWNGRADED MY CHEQUE ACCOUNT AND THE CONSULTANT SATATED MONTHLY ACCOUTN FEE R 7.50 NOTHING MORE OR LESS - FNB CHARGED ME R40.00 FOR ACCOUNT FEE WHEN I QUERIED THIS NOW THE CONSULTANT JUST SEND ME A FEE SCHEDULE - I WILL GO AND CLOSE HTIS ACCOUNT AND RID MYSELF OF THIS INCOMPETANT AND ***** OF A BANK,......................

wish I could give -5. I’m extremely disappointed with this bank’s ongoing fee practices. Over time, I’ve noticed a steady increase in monthly charges along with additional fees that feel excessive and, in many cases, unnecessary. There is little to no transparency around these increases, and it often feels like customers are being penalized without clear justification. Banking services should provide value and fairness, not constant unexpected costs. At this stage, my account is significantly in the negative — not due to my own doing, but as a result of these ongoing charges by the bank. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to justify remaining with a bank that prioritizes profit over customer trust. I am now seriously considering closing my account by the end of this week and, based on this experience, I would not recommend this bank to others.
FNB says "How can we help you?" yet I get declined for wanting to get life insurance due to a flag on my creditor report NB not a judgment or anythin a flag due to my financial circumstances. I find this as **************, ********* conduct.
so hard to get ahold of a person to speak to and this simply to confirm a outstanding balance .
If I could give a MINUs I could. Have been calling daily and keep getting answer machine or a receptionist that transfers and nothing happening. POOR SERVICE
If I could give a negative rating, I would. I logged a dispute on 11/11/2025, and to date, I have not received any update. Your WhatsApp service has consistently been insufficient, with frequent issues. Calls either go unanswered, or when someone does pick up, they are unable to provide assistance. I urge your team to address this matter promptly.
I really did not want to right a review but its like I am just running into a brick wall. Logged a query on 11/11/25 due to voucher bought but never received since then i was contacted only on 11/11 & 12/11 and ince then - NOTHING, Really is this how you now handle things. Disappointed and gave a 5star review previously.

It is extremely disappointing to experience the level of incompetence that your service has displayed in recent times. No one answers when I call — I am left on hold for 10 to 15 minutes at a time. The WhatsApp line does not connect to a human representative, only an unhelpful AI bot. I have also submitted call-back requests and emailed CCS, yet more than five days have passed without any form of response. This lack of communication and support is entirely unacceptable and needs to be addressed urgently. Kindly ensure that someone contacts me without further delay to resolve this matter.
