After posting a comment on Hellopeter on 10 April, I received an email on 13 April requesting more information. As of 25 April 2026, still no progress.
We bought a corner lounges suite from Beares Vredenburg on 10 September 2025. The service was great (at first) - the lounge suite not so much. The suite was delivered a few days later and the couches were standing skew (not all the "feet" were on the floor). We thought maybe our house flooring was just not level (we moved in just before we bought the lounge suite) so we made a plan to level the couches. The compartments on the lounge suite started coming loose constantly. The one recliner also started giving issues. At this point, on 2 March 2026 we reported the issues to Beares via telephone call. There have been two assessors here since then but as of today, 10 April 2026, still nothing has been done. No feedback. Nothing. Even after we have followed up numerous times.
Moved to Vredenburg in 2025. Had some issues when moving in (trash collection that was left by the previous tenants, leaky water meter and faulty street light). Every single time I requested assistance, this was promptly attended to. I am so sad to see the bad reviews because, coming from Gauteng, I have never seen service like this from a municipality. I just want to say THANK YOU!!!
Signed up with them less than a year ago and have had only issues after issues. No communication, empty promises, other policy holder information sent to me by mistake, always have to follow up, etc. They really do not care about their customers. I would not recommend this company.
Literally every time I order Debonairs delivery, there is an issue. This time I ordered 2 pizzas with a side of chillis. They didn't deliver the chillis. I called them and had to wait over an hour for the chillis to be delivered (Debonairs is about 5 min away). Anyway, already ate the pizza by the time they got there. Really poor service given this is not the first time. Debonairs disappoints me time and time again.
They actually should get NO stars. The service is horrible. Their machines are miraculously NEVER WORKING or excuses they can't assist as the machines have now "cashed up for the day". No matter WHEN or WHAT TIME OF DAY, there is always an excuse. Oh, and you will wait to be served because they seem to always be too busy to just look up and assist you. Very frustrating and extremely unprofessional. So much for service delivery.
Good day. In June 2015 I received an account of over R 2000 which is WAY OVER my usual bill (for over how many years). I phoned Telkom over and over again and could not get through. Eventually on the 13th of July I got hold of Lizelle and explained the situation. She said that someone requested an ADSL upgrade on my line (this cannot be, I don't know anything about internet, I'm a pensioner). She put me through to Rickie who said he will cancel it and provide me with a credit (Ref rickie123949948). I even received an sms stating it has been cancelled. I phoned again on 20 July to check that all is in order and they said they are still waiting for the dispute to finalize. Apparently the dispute takes 1 week to finalize, it's now been 3 weeks - STILL not finalized! My July bill arrived and surprise surprise my bill is R 764.92 - THIS CANNOT BE!!! When will this be dealt with? You seem to be extremely useless! Perhaps I must close my account and move my money to Neotel.
