For the past week now I've been trying to find out what's happening with my ***** case but no answer. RCS has never let me know how these *****sters work, even though they know. Once I was de*****ed and called on RCS to investigate I was told exactly how these ********s work. If RCS told me before it happened, I could have avoided being ******. The ******* spent more money than the cards' limit and was allowed by RCS, they just sent me a message "PLEASE NOTE THE BALANCE ON YOUR CARD IS NOW MORE THAN THE LIMIT AND THIS ADDITIONAL AMOUNT WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR NEXT INSTALMENT " I'm not allowed to overspend but ********s are. Therefore I would like to warn all RCS card holders that RCS just doesn't care because at the end of the day it is the owner that has to pay. First: You receive a message warning that a certain amount was spent on your card and if it wasn't you, answer "NO" Next day a person claiming to be from RCS calls and pretends to want to assist in reversing the money, she knows the exact amount and OTP sent to start the reversal. Then a second amount is spent and the same story. Apparently the first amount is false and the second is the money they're about to *****. Everything Sounds like RCS all messages seemed to be from RCS, trying to connect to your card app does not help because RCS only has a monthly statement which is only available from the first of the month. So can't check if anything was spent or not.
I bought a Kenwood coffee machine Sept 2026 and will never buy another Kenwood again. My choice in this price range was big but I decided on Kenwood because of my previous experience with this brand. Big mistake, the machine was delivered and as a coffee ***** I couldn't wait for the first brew to be finished. Big disappointment the coffee smelled and tasted like plastic. I thought it would eventually disappear but no such luck I tried vinegar instead of water but no change. I decided to try and find out from Kenwood if they have a remedy but nothing not a single word, they ignored my e-mails completely, didn't even send a received note nothing. Item was sold, they have their money, so stuff the customer. I used to love my coffee but after this **** machine I'm now a tea drinker. Kenwood must be the worst small appliance manufacturer and should be avoided. Plastic has and never will be acceptable.
Once again I had the displeasure of having to try and claim storm damage to my Momentum insured house. A little man from LG assessments turned up at my house and inspected the cause and the actual damage to my house. He did not bring any kind of ladder, just his trusty old phone camera and a laser measurer. The distance between the brandering spacing he calculated from photos on his phone with no reference whatso ever. Some spaces according to him is between 54 and 76 mm. I used a ladder and tape measure and found all distances to be 50 mm as per regulation. He inspected the valleys from the bottom not even trying to actually inspect the valley. All he saw was that my neighbor's trees seem to protrude unto my yard. Yes, he was told that twice a month our gardener cleans the gutters and valleys and if possible we check and clean after storms. This little man has to protect his employer Momentum Insure so his finding other than the spacing was lack of maintenance. So if the spacing is truly of then it means that Momentum are *****ulently taking money for property insurance which they have no intention of covering, all house claims will be denied because of bad construction.
Yesterday the power went out because of a fire at the sub station. Being so used to timeshare with electricity no problem. I started the generator and power was back on in my house. For the first part I had internet, then later on I only had connection without internet. I've just come from two week without internet so I've gone through everything the guys at Afrihost wanted me to do ,that's from restarting re-booting and refreshing both the fiber box as well as the router. eventually I connected directly to my computer but still nothing. So a call to Afrihost was logged and a very intelligent Simpiwe called me. This must be the worst phone voice I've ever heard, I could hardly understand anything this person said, speaking too fast and unclear and definitely not a call center voice. The more I told it that I've had problems before and I've retried everything again without joy, the more It claims that I'm not doing it right and therefore nothing can work. It really ticked me of that this mumbling DoDo could not tell me what is anything was wrong with the fiber. Within five minutes of the power being restored I had full connection with internet again. Personally, I believe that the towers have battery backup and if the power goes out for too long connection will also be affected. So easy to tell the truth and in a clear understandable voice and stop blaming the CUSTOMER for not doing it right.
Trying to buy a solid wood door on the BWH website and found a door that my wife like and the price not to bad. I received a birthday discount voucher a week or so ago which was for 10% discount (on Wednesdays I get pension discount of 10%), nothing serious but with the current financial state any little bit helps. What a shock to see the price jump from R2599 (Advert) to R2999 (Checkout) then I tried the so-called birthday voucher and as per current SA it has already been claimed. Don't know by whom as it's been some time since I've bought anything at builders. People should be aware of the fact that the advertised price is not the same as the purchase price. Even though it's a noble thought to give registered members a special birthday voucher but it means nothing if someone else has used it before you've even tried.
Sorry to say but snatcher has now become *******. It's been two weeks since my refund was promised, but still nothing but silence. When they reply to HelloPeter they do so in such a manner that no one can see anything (this includes me). If this company is prepared to accept the THIEVE label for R70.00 then so be it and no one should even contemplate doing business with them, you will loose.
This is a warning to everyone to avoid this company at all costs. It takes them ages to deliver goods which then is the wrong stuff and to get a refund out of them takes as long. I bought on 01/09/2023 Delivery promised 5-7 working days actual delivery 19/09/2023 Wrong stuff which I decided I'll keep and just get refunded for the difference. It's now the 13/10/2023 and nothing from them. Promises has never bought anything, escalating for this company means hide and hope you get away with it.
This company does not trade under it's own name. It is a ******* company situated in Cyprus that advertises on facebook, using normal south african names. They will ***** all your money if you give them half a chance and it seems that the SA Banks can't do a darn thing about it.
An add on facebook had me fooled and I tried to buy some tools. My bank Discovery decided this was ***** and stopped the transaction immediately. Well done!! The a couple of days later, this same company claimed 15 US dollars from my account which Discovery approved. The moment I became aware of this I called the ***** department tried to reverse the transaction and cancelled my card. With a 72 hour turnaround it's already been three weeks later and nothing, no money no correspondence. When asked why, when Discovery decided that it's ***** the money was immediately returned to my account. When I reported ***** nothing could be done as the transaction was still pending.
So they responded to my review with the promise of a call by someone some time soon. Not unlike their service, days has passed and no call. They still owe me money and until they actually pay I'll see them as *******. Anyone trying to buy from them should first make sure of the size of the goods and secondly they should have serious patience as Snatcher works in slow-motion.
