Have gone to the BUCO Honeydew store a couple of times and have had poor customer service experience every time. I was willing to accept that the BUCO staff was very busy, and therefore the way that they treated us. However, when the manager of the store displays the same attitude, it makes me wonder if there is actually any understanding of customer experience. We will never go back to this store and simply will go to other hardware stores rather than having to endure this type of behaviour.
Being compliant, following COJ rules for prepaid electricity seems not to be something that the municipality cherish. My mother (88 year old) has been battling now for the last 18 months to get her prepaid meter keypad replaced. This unit is used to load and monitor usage - her unit is faulty. Reporting this, she gets informed that there are no spares available in South Africa. Does COJ want to improve service delivery? - not sure if we look at this experience.
Wondering if BP has considered the brand equity damaged cause by running competition where customers can swipe and collect 6 cars by swiping Smart Shopper and BP Reward cards. Then these cars are not available due to no stock available. And then sending SMS to inform that one has to collect before 3 Aug. Have been going to BP Radiokop every week and same story - no stock. Have been to other BP's in area and same story.
When will corporates realize that selling products are not about the asset but also about the service delivered during the process. My experience with Makro Alberton has been one of the worst I have ever had. Bought a Defy Fridge for my mom at this store on Monday - they were very fast to get the fridge sold but then things fell apart. After numerous attempts to get hold of deliveries through nonfunctional switchboard, was told that delivery would be Wednesday. The driver was excellent in communicating and arrived as stated time. However, fridge was faulty and now had to get this exchanged - back to no one answering and using various ways to get hold of staff at this store did also not work. Had to go back to the store and got commitment that the fridge would be delivered on Friday. Nothing arrived and again after numerous attempts have been told that this will now be delivered on Saterday. Makro Alberton you will never see me again!
Am very sadden by the poor experience that I have received from this company. Have had numerous *****ulent transactions committed using my credit card in 2025. Trying to reach Uber Eats - the only way was via so called "Help Centre". Logged numerous templates-based queries, hoping for some response from this company. None was forthcoming - surly a company of this size should have an auto-answer email or at least respond to their own query process. While this online-service is excellent - falls flat when there is no way to actually engage with someone from the company. Poor service in any part of customer engagement processes means that you don't really care!
As a Premium Subscriber, I have been amazed at the poor viewing content that is provided by DSTV. During prime time on Saturday a program like $1000000 Pyramid is aired. What is going on at Multichoice - am considering other services providers as this type of content no longer appeals to us.
