I regret using K&M Plumbing (Secunda) and Karl Maartens for repairs and upgrades to our bathroom and passage wall. Initially, Karl appeared professional and responsive. We received formal quotations totaling R37,900, which I paid a R32,000 deposit toward. Karl acknowledged receipt and work commenced. Unfortunately, the experience quickly deteriorated: Poor Workmanship: Tiling was poorly aligned, and a cracked tile was left in the shower. The toilet did not flush properly, and despite Karl’s promises, I had to fix it myself. There were visible defects in the bath installation, and the mirror frame was damaged. Unfulfilled Promises: Karl repeatedly said he would return to complete and correct the work. This never happened, despite numerous WhatsApp follow-ups. Deceptive Conduct: I was asked to pay a remaining balance under the pretense that Karl needed to pay his workers before the holidays. Trusting his word, I paid. However, he disappeared afterward without completing the job. Damaged Goods & Extra Costs: I had to purchase additional repair materials myself (R946.72), and Karl even admitted to receiving a tile refund of R525, which was never returned to me. The final straw was having to complete the repairs myself and clean up after their mess. The electrical connection for the bath was never done, and communication from Karl completely stopped. This experience mirrors other negative reviews online. I should have heeded the warnings and asked for more reliable references. To anyone considering K&M Plumbing: proceed with extreme caution. Their work is unreliable, promises are empty, and your money may be at risk.
I feel compelled to warn others about my deeply troubling experience involving Homeloan Junction and one of their alleged agents, Mr. Fourie, who also acted as the seller in my property purchase at 6 Libertas Street, Secunda (ERF 5757). The property was purchased on 19 March 2024 and registered in July 2024. Mr. Fourie presented a Certificate of Compliance (CoC) during the sale, which was later discovered to be *****ulent—a fact confirmed in a recorded admission by the electrician and acknowledged by Mr. Fourie’s legal representative. Promised electrical and structural repairs were never done, and the property contained several undisclosed and serious defects. Despite this clear evidence of misrepresentation and *****, Homeloan Junction has not accepted any responsibility, nor have they confirmed whether Mr. Fourie was acting as their agent—despite him claiming to do so. To date, there has been no accountability, no formal investigation, and no assistance offered. Their silence raises serious concerns about their vetting processes and willingness to protect buyers from ********* conduct by individuals acting under their name. If you value transparency, integrity, and post-sale accountability, I strongly advise you to avoid Homeloan Junction.
I am compelled to express my dissatisfaction with the service provided by LAW FOR ALL concerning my legal insurance claim (Claim Ref: CR245-4-2025, Policy No. 77036964). Despite submitting comprehensive evidence—including a recorded admission of a *****ulent Certificate of Compliance, written confirmations from involved parties, photographic documentation, and multiple contractor quotations—my claim was rejected twice. Each rejection introduced new requirements, such as expert reports and affidavits, which were neither stipulated in the policy nor reasonably attainable without assistance. Repeated requests for support in obtaining these documents were met with inadequate responses. The lack of guidance and shifting goalposts over an eight-month period have not only caused significant delays but have also severely impacted my ability to seek justice and incurred additional financial strain. I have escalated this matter to the National Financial Ombud Scheme (NFOSA) and the FAIS Ombud, as I believe LAW FOR ALL has failed to uphold its contractual obligations and the standards expected of a legal service provider. I advise others to exercise caution when considering LAW FOR ALL for legal insurance services.
I have been a paying client of Law For All for years, and when I finally needed their assistance with a claim, their service has been nothing short of abysmal. I submitted a claim related to defects and *****ulent misrepresentation in the purchase of a property. I provided all the necessary documentation, including quotes, photos, and videos, to substantiate my claim. Instead of assisting me, they stalled the process with unreasonable demands, such as requiring a "damages affidavit" from multiple experts for issues that are self-evident and well-documented. Their approach has been impractical and unhelpful. Any competent lawyer would proceed with the claim based on the evidence provided without demanding such unnecessary steps. Their turnaround times are incredibly slow, and communication is poor. It feels like they are deliberately dragging their feet to avoid actually taking any meaningful action. After years of paying premiums to this company, I feel entirely let down. If I had hired a private attorney, this matter would have been resolved already. I am now considering canceling my policy and seeking legal action to recover fees incurred due to their incompetence. Law For All is NOT a service I would recommend to anyone. They take your money and give nothing in return when you actually need their support. Avoid them at all costs.

I made a payment on the 22nd of September 2022, it is the 29th of September 2022 now and the vendor has not received payment. Multiple phone calls, emails and WhatsApp's have been sent and the best they can say every time is "we have escalated it"
