AVOID OZOW AT ALL COSTS!

NEVER use this payment method. I booked one flight via Emirates airlines. Ozow deducted double the payment (yes, for two international flights!!) and Emirates insist they have not received the money. So, no flights, and no money returned. Ozow refuse to confirm or deny whether payments were made by them referring me back to Emirates. This makes it difficult to know whether this is an admin error, *****, or a phishing ****. AVOID OZOW at all costs.

Emirates deduct double payment for flights but no flight booking!?

Having had a great experience five years ago with Emirates I went straight to them to book my flights to London later this month. Shockingly, this is what happened: I booked my flight to London via Dubai and made payment with the Emirates payment service provider Ozow. Emirates DOUBLE charged me (yes, two payments were deducted for the same flight). I contacted their Live Chat help service and was reassured one payment would be refunded. When following up online I saw not only have I been charged for two flights, there are no flight bookings on my profile. I am told both flights were cancelled as they missed the ticketing deadline!? So I have no flight and am now down R17 162.34 and have to book another flight. Despite having proof of the deductions, I am told I must wait 7 working days while their team reviews the matter!? Best to avoid Emirates Airline until they get back to their previous efficiency.

Bennett Read Hydro TEVO

Bennett Read vacuum cleaner parts only available from TEVO, such as the sponge filter essential in operating the machine - cannot buy anywhere in South Africa other than from TEVO. TEVO not only do not have the sponge filter in stock but are also closed for annual stock take. They can order in one week and will receive the stock a week after that - so two weeks without a vacuum cleaner. In this day and age this is unacceptable after-sales service. I do not recommend purchasing any Bennett Read products in South Africa.

Bennett Read TEVO poor after-sales service

I am on my second Bennett Read vacuum cleaner. The after-sales service, repairs and parts are handled by TEVO. Parts are not readily available which means either having to replace your machine at your own cost or having to wait weeks for replacement parts - i.e. weeks without being able to use the vacuum cleaner.
