The 18 of May 2026 was exactly the 30 days I was told about on the email that was sent on the 08 of April 2026. I didn't get any communication about my claim the only way to be able to get feedback from Abacus if by writing here. Your service is disgusting I've been calling and being told my claim is with the risk management team.
Submitted claim on the 4 of march I am still waiting for payout from abacus. On Tuesday an investigating officer went to my family asking all these sort of questions and left saying he will submit the report and the Money will be in on Friday. I've been calling them all I'm told is I need to be patient. Your service is pathetic!!!!
Your service is pathetic I'm being told about discrepancy and waiting 30 days to get feedback but I called a month ago to check if my policies are up to date and I was told they are.
I ordered a aluminium half door at build it Kwanobuhle on the 15/01/2024. I still haven’t received the door nor a call to tell what’s going on I went to ask in Feb I was told they will order it and give me a call the next day I’m still waiting for the call😡
I’m disgusted by abacus insurance I submitted a claim on the 27/11/2023 and I’m still waiting as I’m being told that the claim is being assessed. If you want peace of mind stay away from Abacus insurance
My mom was suppose to undergo a knee replacement operation on the 07/08/2023 I just received a call from the doctor that gems hasn’t approved the Authorisation yet so it has been moved to the 14/08/2023. My mom has Dementia and is experiencing severe pain😡😡😡

I sent through my funeral claim on the 8 of August 2022 first of all the claim details were incorrectly captured on the system and I haven’t been paid. I’m told about an investigation that they are doing regarding my claim.
I submitted all death documents on the 2nd of June 2022 I was told about 48hrs but I still haven’t received any money.I’ve been calling them each and every morning and being told it has been processed.while dealing with death you still have stress about an insurance that has been getting it’s premiums each and evey month😡😡😡
