The 18 of May 2026 was exactly the 30 days I was told about on the email that was sent on the 08 of April 2026. I didn't get any communication about my claim the only way to be able to get feedback from Abacus if by writing here. Your service is disgusting I've been calling and being told my claim is with the risk management team.

Submitted claim on the 4 of march I am still waiting for payout from abacus. On Tuesday an investigating officer went to my family asking all these sort of questions and left saying he will submit the report and the Money will be in on Friday. I've been calling them all I'm told is I need to be patient. Your service is pathetic!!!!

I'm not pleased with their service we have been paying for a lapsed policy which we opened in 2018 but it lapsed in 2024 till now and we were not told that the policy has lapsed we found out last month but they've been taking our payments for 2 years which is 2024 till 2026, when we're trying to ask for refund they keep on making empty promises saying they'll refund us

We have processed a claim before the 30th of March and we were told lies that payment has been made on the 30th yet no money was sent into the account and we have attached all correct documents. For the whole week we have been making follow ups and we have been fed by lies that account was paid into wrong account by the system but will now be allocated to the right account and we asked how so as we have attached a bank stated. Consultants by the name of Kgaoogelo Phahlane and Ntoti Tlale are part of this **** as they will keep on making false promises to claimants as if money will reflect in the account. Yesterday 9 April Kgaogelo said payment will reflect at 18:00 yet nothing till this day. Cleopatra Thabethe and Natacia Hills who are said to be supervisor and Manager dont even bother to call back or speak to you. No matter what you do DO NOT OPEN A POLICY WITH ABACUS.

Worst insurance company The worst insurance you can ever have!! I have been their client for over 5 year, paying consistently and now I missed one payment, I asked them to debit twice on the next payment date and the agent rep**** and said they have attached a form form me, but there was no form attached, now they are telling me that my policy has lapsed because of owing only 2 premiums. Which I am begging them to deduct immediately! Imagine begging someone to take your own money! I have been loyal to them all those year and now they are telling me about not being able to reinstate a lapsed contract after they failed to send me the proper documentation! And one missed debit and then the next month they ddnt deduct! Don’t ever take this policy! They will waste your years and dump you like you never existed. They will reply on hello peter saying someone will call me back but never do!!! Still waiting for a call since 30March
