It has been 20 days since I moved out and still my file has not been finalized. Communication comes in drip and drops and there has been some questionable practices. They first charged me R500 and said it is for late check out even though in the confirmation email that they sent to me, they stated that my vacate date is 31 March 2026 and I can move out anytime. When I queried how did they determine that because it is more than what I would have incurred had I stayed an extra day and how is it late check out when I paid for the 31 March 2026, they said it is at their discretion. They made mistakes on my account resulting in it appearing as though I owe them and spent days refusing to talk to me or fix it till I wrote my complain on hello peter and that is when they only reached out and i helped them see their error. Then they decided they are going to change the interest earned on deposit because it has now come to their attention that for all 7 years the interest rate they used was higher than they wanted to give. Now instead of closing the file they come with another story. There were 2 existing tiny spots in the bedroom carpets that I found, I assumed it was just stains now they say it burn marks and they will be replacing the carpet at my cost but there are no figures attached so I still have to wait longer to get the file closed. Very bad service
I have been leasing from this company for more than 7 years with no missed rent. I moved out on the 31st however only received my account statement on the 9th, took the time to recalculate and point out the errors in the statement and sent it to the credit controller assigned to my account as we had met before I handed in my notice to vacate. When I received no response from her on the 10th I took the initiative to call her and she refused to speak to me and told the customer service agent that she was not allowed to speak to me due to reasons he can not disclose to me, she proceeded to reply to my email to say she is escalating it. On Monday 13th at 14:25 she proceeded to send a response that all is in order without engaging the errors I pointed out in my initial email and in the accounts records. I asked for a meeting to point to them that they are debiting the account twice and are not recognizing the interest earned and I was told the person she escalated to has already knocked off. I asked for a call and no feedback was given. Based on the treatment and lack of assistance I am receiving, I would advice a prospective tenant to think twice before dealing with this company, trying to escalate internally never works.
Paid off my account and it was converted in to prepaid, 2 months later they try to debit my account when I contact the customer service they can not explain how I incurred the additional charge however they had already referred my account to legal.
Unhappy with the service I am receiving from Automagic Menlyn, took my car for minor repairs and it has now been 21 days since it has been with them. You receive generic updates that you even start asking yourself what is it exactly that they are fixing because they were just meant to replace the old bumper with a new 1 and remove a small dent. very very unhappy with the service received.
I took a 24 months data contract with Vodacom for R449, 6 months later they decided to increase the amount by 20%, how is that acceptable. Why was I not told that your prices are flexible, I feel ****med.
How do you decide to add a closed account from 2 years ago on my credit profile and logging a query doesn't help as there is no meaningful feedback. They don't answer their phone when you call them.
Why did you allow allow City Property Administration to list on my credit profile even though I don't have a credit agreement with them and don't owe them any money, I even asked for evidence that they provided to you and no were does it say there advanced me any credit.
I have leased an apartment since 2018 and in March 2020 they decided to lease themselves on my credit profile I sent a email asking for a credit agreement I signed with them and how much do I owe them those questions were never answered. Rent has always been paid upfront and have never missed a payment I don't know how they came with the conclusion that they are a credit provider now my credit report looks luck I am over debted.
