I have been trying for a few months to cancel my internet service with Telkom. For months I sat on the line trying to get through to the cancellation's department - never ever getting through because of the long waiting time. Tried cancelling my service online, no joy here as well. Tried calling the technical department to issue me with a new username and password as the email address used when registering was no longer in use. The technical department smsed me a new username and password and that didn't work as well. No one at Telkom is able to assist me with either sorting out my username and password issue or cancelling my internet service. So in the meantime I am stuck paying for a service I dont want or use....Telkom is ripping us off!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The service at Game is absolutely disgusting. I visited the branch at Cresta Mall. Looking to buy a fan or aircooler. Not one staff member who assist me even though a few were standing around doing absolutely nothing. After a few mins I went to call one of them to assist me and he had absolutely no idea about the product or what he was talking about. in despair I left with purchasing anything. This is not the first time staff at Game wont assist or are'nt clued up on the product they suppose to be selling and this isn't the only Game store that has such bad service. In fact almost all the stores seem to have staff who are just not interested in making a sale or doing their job!....
I purchase a Trojan stamina 320 treadmill from Game store in Trade Route Mall in November 2016. I am the only person who uses the machine and I use it on average 3-4 times a week for 20 mins a day. The machine was giving me problems two months after purchase. I contacted Trojan who dispatched their service provided M5 Services to come out to assess problem and repair. Not too long after this I had the same problem. Again I followed procedure and called Trojan - a technician was sent to repair. About 4 months passed and again something was wrong and I called Trojan once more. The technician came out and replaced the motor and some other part. I found this strange that the motor packed up and the machine wasn't even a year old. Two months later I experienced the same problem. This time when I called Trojan I requested that this machine be replaced. its not normal for a machine to be giving such problems at this early stage. when I called Trojan - explained my situation - the agent enquired as too how often I use the machine as this could be a factor - I was dumbstruck- so I purchased a treadmill that mustn't be used or not used that often???? he also informed me that Trojan cannot replace the machine , they only repair and I should contact Game. Game in turn told me they dont replace - Trojan is the one who can replace it. everyone is passing the buck here . I spoke to the technician from the service provider M5 services and he agreed that the machine is giving way to much problems at this early stage and its not normal. My guarantee will be up in November 2017 and im sitting with a dud machine that will probably give up soon and I will have to keep paying out of my pocket to have this dud repaired on a continuous basis. Everyone is passing the buck and no one wants to replace this machine. I always purchased Trojan Equipent BUT I will never again and I will never recommend them to anyone else!!!!! what a rip off!!!!!
over the weekend I had an Electrical Problem. After contacting your call centre I was assured by your call centre agent that Roodepoort Electrical was assigned to come out and repair the problem the following morning. No one pitched up during the assigned times. After numerous calls to your call centre , eventually an Electrician from Roodepoort Electrical pitches up after 2pm. by this time I has been waiting for more than 5 hrs. Half my day was wasted . The Electrician comes ill prepared. After assessing the problem and getting the costing involved from Lynn at Roodepoort Electrical we agreed for him to go ahead and repair. Upon checking on his progress I see him packing up his tools and informing me he needs to go somewhere and he will be back in about 20-30 mins. I then told him to complete his job first and then go wherever he needs to go...he refused and started raising his voice and his attitude was appalling. He then commented that he was doing me a favour by coming out to repair my problem. I didnt know that ABSA service providers didn't get paid for their wor****! So why am I paying my Insurance premiums each month... I would strongly advise ABSA to properly screen their service providers. When my policy is up for renewal I'm going to consider other Insurance Companies who have professional service providers who actually do the job they getting paid for!!!!!!!!
This Company is a service provider for Absa Insurance. I had an electrical problem over the weekend. Contacted Absa who in turn contacted Roodepoort Electrical to come out and assess and repair the problem. I was promised an Electrician would be at my home between 9-11am. after numerous calls to Absa Insurance eventually someone at Roodepport Electrical contacted me to say the Electrician should have been there already and she was trying to get hold of him to find out what was causing his delay.....eventually she messaged me to say another Electrician was on his way and should be here between 1-2pm.......this electrician called because he was lost and couldnt find my home.......after calling him on his cell at my expense to direct him - he finally pitches well past 2pm...He informs me he wasn't suppose to be working today but the other Electrician assigned to my joy cannot be reached. Firstly he doesn't come prepared and I had to loan him some tools. After assessing the problem he calls his Manager - Lynn and tells her what the problem is...She inturn tells him what the cost involved is and to tell me that the Insurance wont cover the part and I will have to pay the call out fee as well as cost of the replacement part. I thought this was unprofessional not to discuss it directly with me. Anyway we agreed for him to replace the part and I agreed to pay the cost. He goes to fix the problem and when I went to check on him about progress , I see him packing up his tools and saying he has to go somewhere to collect some "papers" and he will be back in about 20-30mins. At this stage I was both fed -up and angry because I had wasted half the day already waiting for them and for the repairs to be done. I requested he finish his job - repair what needed to be repaired and then go collect whatever he needed to after completion of my job...He refused and started raising his voice and getingt angry and telling me he was doing me a favour by coming out - it wasn't his job to come out as he was off....etc. I told him to pack his tools up and go. I cannot believe that this is supposed to be a reputable service provider that ABSA is using. If this is the kind of Company they employ to carry out their repairs - I will have to reconsider renewing my home Insurance with them and look for another Insurance Company! Im going to report them to ABSA as well...Companies like this need to realize they are doing NO ONE ANY FAVOURS .... we are paying Insurance and they are getting paid by the Insurance companies to do their job!!!!!!!!
I have been trying in vain for the past few days to get through to the cancellation department at Autopage to cancel my contract.<br> I have been put on hold for more then 20 - 30mins at a time without anyone helping me!!! Eventually because of the wasted time I have to drop the phone....<br> This is time consuming , expensive and frustrating!!!<br> We don't have all day to sit on the phone trying to sort simple things out...some of us actually work!<br> I have sent a mail and I doubt I will get a response any time soon , <br> Is this Autopage's way of getting you to not cancel a contract by simple refusing to take your call!!!!<br>
