I was gifted flowers for mother's day. Looked nothing like the intended flowers. Contacted them on their website and email. No response whatsoever.
Buffalo logistics is the agent for Temu and manages the tax payment. They do not answer the phone. They do not respond to emails to sort out problems. Their whatsapp bot is not very good. They lose payments made and in order to get your parcel, you need to pay tax again. To get a refund thus far has been impossible.
Temu started with a bang in South Africa. Parcels arrived quickly and returns were collected and refunded. As time progressed, delivery slowed down (I understand the courier companies are struggling to keep up) and returns are not collected. I have stopped ordering until such time that they collect and refund me on items. The clothing is okay. Not spectacular but acceptable. Shoes are hit and miss. 3 pairs was good fit and 2 not. (IN THE RETURN PILE THAT IS NOT BEING COLLECTED) Everything else is small. Read the very small print and recheck all sizes. We are used to larger sized items BUT they only stock small things. Then there is the ongoing competitions to win freebies. It continues for days and the nearer to the prize, the lower the rewards values. It eats up data and time. It also upsets all your friends and no one wants to be inundated with request for referrals. Their marketing budget is enormous and they are everywhere on the internet. Buy, but be aware that it does not come without being inundated with adds and temptations and many, many ways that take your data and free time. So far, they have not hijacked my accounts!
Good day I ordered products from the USA. It cleared customs on the 3rd of March. Then nothing. No movement. Eventually got through to a person at SAPO. Here is the kicker: The parcel has been placed in a bag in Johannesburg and is AWAITING transport to Pretoria for delivery. BUT they don't have any transport available to collect from Johannesburg and to deliver to Pretoria. The lady said that it could take up to 3 months to travel from Johannesburg to Pretoria. An ox wagon and oxen would be faster! Or was her answer just a HOAX? Can somebody form SAPO please respond?
Used Master Shred to clean out an office. They arrived on time to bring the bin as ordered and came to fetch it once filled at the agreed time. FAST AND SUPER EFFICIENT. They provided me with the necessary documentation to certify destruction. Highly recommended.
I have received a number of deliveries from Netflorist from various persons who thought that they would surprise me with a wonderful gift. Well not so. A delivery of fresh fruit turned out to be overly unripe fruit that went rotten before it ripened. The most recent delivery was for 24 roses for Sunday 7 August. I was told to expect a delivery and stayed home ALL DAY. The flowers were eventually delivered on the 12th. Only 10 dead roses. Stop wasting your money using Netflorist!
Bought the top of the range Nissan Navara. Within 5000km the loose carpets had to be replaced, which they did. However, the flimsy plastic (not metal) clips that hold the loose carpet on the driver side in place, broke off. Nissan SA's reply: Buy the entire fitted carpet as they do not supply the clips loose. This is a vehicle that they promote as rugged! It has never even been off a tar road. My previous Hardbody's carpets and clips lasted all the years that I had it and this one is cared for in the same manner. The clips should be upgraded to last! Nissan SA should honour their guarantee and fix it.
I have been an oncology patient with Resolution Health. I remember the shock when I was informed that I will be on the cancer registry for life and would not need to reapply annually for benefits. It brought home how serious cancer is. I went for regular check-ups and all were paid from the oncology benefit. Then entered Health Squared. No curtesy call or letter to say that you have to apply each year for oncology benefits. The first year I went as per usual just to find that nothing is paid from oncology. Because it was not authorised. 18 months later, still not resolved. Last week I went for assessment with pre-authorisation. (It took 4 days for them to call me after the WhatsApp.) Two reference numbers. Both starts with NEO. Only one procedure covered. The rest declined. WITH PRE-AUTHORISATION. I have been trying since Friday to speak with anybody at Health Squared. They don't take phone calls. Sent WhatsApp's, emails, emails on their site but there is this wall between them and their members. They are unreachable. If I could transfer to any medical aid without a waiting period I surely would. Health Squared is dysfunctional.
